Fuck electric kettles. I'm not giving up counterspace for anything, and with a gas range a stove top kettle is just as fucking fast as an electric. Also: Le fucking Creuset.

i use the kettle to boil water for lots of things. who wants to wait on a fucking saucepan? shit takes forever yo. i can boil like a liter of water in 2 minutes with my kettle, and do pretty much whatever with it except boil pasta (which takes a giant stockpot anyway)

i just use the mega giant stockpot to boil smaller amounts of water if i'm really in a hurry. works fast as fuck also. i'm never in such a hurry that i'm willing to give up space and money to an instrument whose sole purpose is simply to boil water faster. what the fuck are you doing that 5 minutes for tea is UNACCEPTABLE, but 2 minutes is totally fine? i mean damn, can we not just put on the pot 3 minutes earlier? time management, dudes.
