That quest took me a good while even with radar.. I'm not sure I understand it.

Basically the Rockhopper is like a moving ??? point, only there are a fuckload of points it can pop on and there's no real discernible pattern to it. The real insult, though, is when you do manage to clap it into view, but can't get close enough time to get the KI. If using radar, it's best to try and anticipate where it'll go instead of where it is, but it's not perfect. This quest is also far more miserable to spam post-miasma fix, as alternative routes add a few minutes to the run time.

Ragnarok TP sets?:
1. WAR/sam 6 and 7 hit (not sure which is better)
2. DRK/war 7 hit build (unless 8 hit is better)
3. DRK/sam 6 hit build (unless 7 hit is better)

Assuming all items beside 100floor NI ones.

Its really a tricky weapon to make a TP set because WS is 5hit and you need to assume some number of hits you think will connect.
Its also very potent white damage weapon and its really hard to calculate if strong 7 hit build is better or worse than 6hit build especially considering that overshooting 100TP improves damage pretty nicely.
Another problem is DRK itself because you pretty much want LR up and LR down sets (marches+haste+LR is around 65%haste so you only need 15-16% in equip).

Im trying to do this myself but there is really a LOT of options.
I will see if someone post something and then I will post mine (I want a fresh point of view so dont want to suggest anything by posting any of mine sets)

Could someone tell me how I can restore the original status icons? I downloaded the latest version and like the way everything looks except for the icons. I want the originals. The latest version has totally different icons from the default, causing me to have no idea which is which. Is their a way I can apply the originals without breaking anything?

Try sticking with the new icons.. They are incredibly helpful. Takes only a day or 2 to learn, and allows you to actually tell the difference in what buffs you have on.

I've been using them for a few days now but just can't adjust to it. Is their a way for me to just swap one of the DATs to get the originals, or even better, the "new" original icons from one of the previous versions? If their's a way to do that, it would be perfect. Here's an example of what I mean when I say "new" original icons:

Restore ROM/119/57.dat (should be a "originals" or something like that folder in the pack you got) but seconding you should probably just use them, that's the only part of the update I even apply anymore.

Anybody got a low man/solo strat for plucking wings?

Back at 90 when my server had it, I just duo'd it with RDM + MNK, after MNK aggroed I would immediately sleepga adds. I kept main guy debuffed and MNK fully healed and never had an issue. Ignore the adds, the BC ends (chest pops) once main yag dies. Just guessing at how awesome your BLU is I dont doubt you could solo it with dream flower, sudden lunge it's spells on Manifestation/2hr.

Does it run if you do it normal (save that as statustimerAdjustments.txt -> exec, or enter each line ingame)?

If so, try adding a "wait 5" above that bit, add time as needed. Might be trying to adjust it too early.

Also, Statustimer is loaded before that line, yes?

Not really. GC_s has 8 NW/up from campaign area, used to be 16min repop, not sure now.

Voidwrought tower has a lot, 5min repops, but they're a little higher/longer kills. If you have a group of people probably not bad, solo it'd be very slow.

BLU can solo very easily (/RDM, sleep adds, stun spells and Dark Invocation, 2hr makes it take less than a minute if it's up but it's unnecessary), I've seen MNKs emerge solo but I'm unaware of the details (/BLM ES Sleepga and Hundred Fists? stun if needed), DNC can solo, I'd assume other jobs can as well.
