If you're soloing plucking wings, I recommend doing whirl of rage before you do Dream flower because one of them can sleepga you and that can cause unnecessary difficulties.

What Night suggested, a lot of jobs are able to solo it now but here is a BLU solo at 90 for reference: (Obviously 10x easier now with sudden lunge/new spells).

Pretty much. Also to note is that if you can "farm" archaic mirrors in beastmen territory, you can rake in 1k IS per mirror... not exactly fast, but hey, it's a start. I think I've ran into 3 mirrors on the way to pop dextrose. Rare/ex so you can only hold one at a time though.

Bummer. I just want to build some IS for when doing Blu and Pup quests to use ports. I was excited to exp in some of the Bst friendly camps in WG, but GoV is superior.

1. is the "inherited fTP" effect present on all of the new WSs or just a few (ie first hit fTP carried over as fTP of all hits rather than subsequent hit fTP being 1)?
2. if you Double/Triple/Quad attack one of these weaponskills, are the added hits with fTP=first_hit_fTP or fTP=1?
3. what is the WSC alpha value at 99? Still 0.85?
4. I have seen many people claiming Stardiver is superior to Drakesbane, but my preliminary math puts them roughly dead even IF Drakesbane doesn't critical at all. Is Stardiver superior for reasons I am missing, is my math incorrect, or is Drakesbane generally stronger?

Not all. At least Exenterator and Shoha don't seem to indicate it. I can't say for Upheaval/Shattersoul.

Did you consider you can bump star diver base fTP from 0.75 -> 0.95? It's pretty close to Drakesbane's 1.0 base fTP and it expands to all other hits.
then you go compare 100% STR vs 50% STR WSC
Well I guess it's pretty clear if you make a case of Drakesbane not crit'ing at all.

EDIT : also.. apparently Drakesbane also suffers from lower innate base attack like penta thrust

If you have Ninja, just take it out to castly Z and whack on fortilaces with an event katana (hope you have one!) to take it up to 276, then just skill up regularly in Abyssea XP using a Soboro + food.

I was unsure whether to account for the higher fTP as such since while Stardiver would approach a non-crit Drakesbane with higher TP, this would also increase the Drakesbane critical hit rate which would give Drakesbane a significant advantage.

And yeah, I forgot about that (bullshit) -19% Attack thing. I suppose that would be the difference maker in this case...

So many things wrong with this post...

Anyway, I would use fortalices to 230, than do a non dom-ops aby exp pt with regain atmas while breaking WSNM/nyzul weapons. To cap after that, just afk on grauberg crabs with regen atmas and the lowest damage katanas available, and make sure you don't get the STR cruor buff. If you can use a script to activate defender while afk it will make things a bit easier.
