Anyone know what happens if you delete your SE account? My old friend just quit and gave me his account. Said he couldn't figure out how to just cancel the thing (I know..) so he deleted it. I create a new SE account to link his, and I get "This PlayOnline ID cannot be transferred. Please contact the Square Enix Support Center for further details."

Is the account lost? Or is he gonna have to call customer service and go thru a ton of BS to get the account back to normal? He just cancelled a few days ago.

Wow. And holy shit I just found the page on SE's website stating this. Obviously I wasn't there when he cancelled it so I can't say why he chose this route. I can say registering a new account was a pain. I assume he couldn't figure it out right away, got annoyed, and found the delete SE account and didn't read exactly what he was deleting. Really sucks cause it was a pretty decent account.

I was unsure whether to account for the higher fTP as such since while Stardiver would approach a non-crit Drakesbane with higher TP, this would also increase the Drakesbane critical hit rate which would give Drakesbane a significant advantage.

And yeah, I forgot about that (bullshit) -19% Attack thing. I suppose that would be the difference maker in this case...

As of yesterday I have been unable to open the windower console, use print screen in ffxi, or paste into windower. I can't figure out for the life of me what went wrong, all of these keys are working outside of ffxi, and I didn't make any changes to any windower related files. Does anyone know what might be wrong?

For Voidwatch you only need to have a stone to be eligible for drops, looking at your post it seems like you've recently came back to the game?
If so, you should look out for a t1 Jeuno shout for a 4th stone, and Sandy T1, Bastok T2, Zilart T1 for Temp Items. You'll also want to take some Rubicund cells to Voidwatch

I remember someone giving advice for Apoc DRK builds in regard to legs, and they had said they wouldn't use Aces or Calmecac for TP. What would the alternate leg option be for TP, and whats a good example set to go with it?

What's wrong with using Calmecac before aftermath? There aren't many good alternatives to them

2. Mis T3 VNMs otherwiki page makes it sound worse than it is, especially for 99 cap. The spikes are annoying but once you proc !! you can pop a fools drink/powder to completly nullify them for the time being and finish it off. -MDT gear helps while you wait for !!, but nothing should 1shot you with Shell up.

I posted a few questions about the Aby-Mis T3 VNM Tristitia a couple weeks ago, and got some good advice (see above). Have been killing it with SMNx2 BLM, or NIN WHM BLM with no problems, and just need to do it one more time.

Predictably, last night I got a pickup group who were a bit clueless, they all stood in a nice little group and waited for the NM to Thundaja, and everybody died.

Is there any reason I can't solo this thing on BST? Gear is decent to the point where I've been soloing zone bosses (Bennu, Sedna). Dipper Yuly, Falcorr or other pet of choice? Anything strong to thunder?

Try the Adamantoise pet or Bloodclaw Shasra coeurl pet. Adamantoise resists magic pretty well and the Coerl pet is extremely resistant to thunder damage. Or if you have a SMN you can solo this using Titan/Ramuh.

Honestly, doing it this way will also be more fulfilling than shouting for a group in Jeuno and rolling the dice hoping I don't get Dr. Herpderp and his pals. At least if I die it's my fault, lol.

Apocalypse DRK should have like 6+ TP sets. Calmecac can be used in some of them (The ones for low-medium evasive mobs) but generally you want leg pieces from 80/100 NewNyzul floors.

I vaguely remember hearing that Triplus pulled ahead of Twilight.

Wind weather one beats Triplus if you have Exenterator. Doubles up as a useful dagger for dynamis as you will be uncapped evasion in TP set, (and it's DPS isn't terrible compared to other easy to obtain daggers anyway).

No, they patched him a while ago. IIRC, those 20k spikes were because his rage timer used to not reset properly.

Are you sure you're actually running windower? Have you changed anything windower related lately?

That's been patched. These days he's not bad so long as you handle his spikes and stun the -gaIV, and stay away from the surrounding magic aggro. Still the most annoying T3 I've fought though - the others have been fine.

If you are going to have 1 set it should be built for the hardest content which would not include Calmecac legs.
