The biggest issue I can think of with Sobek is that if you have Bio on, Tyrant Tusk will KO you. If you can get Bio off of your pet quickly and reliably, it probably wouldn't be too bad of a fight.

I remember reading that, but I'm not 100% sure it's true. Despite having tanked Sobek ~200 times I can't remember, either, but I thought it was HP% based (more than 50% and you're out?).

Tyrant Tusk always seemed harmless in the KO sense if I was in white HP without bio.

How to rename a character?

Server hop, I tried deactivating and taking the name of the character and didn't work, also tried to take the name of a mule I had that's been deactivated since my move back to Ragnarok in case it was something to do with time and no go :/ 50$ name change service go!

To chip it's never KO'd me when I had bio on. Only time it ever did is when my Hp was lowered which usually only happened if it had just blizzaga'd

1-inability to bust as long as you have an 11 active
2-phantom roll recast reset if you hit an 11
3-roll lasts longer I think

Phantom roll recast is also 30seconds while you have an 11 active.

Not sure about #3, I've not been playing COR much recently and af3+2 gloves/lack of working yarnball means I couldnt tell you how long rolls last ^^;

Alright, so I really only have three jobs: Thief, Blue Mage, and Corsair. I've got Exenterator and Last Stand both capped already. Is Requiescat worth upgrading for Blue Mage, or should I go with Realmrazer?

If you don't have almace definitely. If you do, but also use blu on old content outside of aby, than I'd say it's worth it for req > quad SC, if you don't plan to level another job that would get better use out of a merit WS anyway. I don't know why you would unlock the club ws for those jobs thou...

As for sobek, it's an easy solo on blu or dnc if you have one of those.

What are the two best melee atmactices? Two out of Coercion, Discipline, Valiant? (My only melee jobs are THF and BLU and I have never been asked to come THF to VW but it could happen I suppose.)

the hp based% is what i've always thought about, the times that I've been KO'd seem to happen when dispelga takes off shellra5 since tyrant is magic based. Without shellra the chance of it doing 50% of your hp etc etc.

Who knows? But I've always been curious for hard proof.

I soloed all of my skins on blu/nin. Never had shell, or used any spells/gear that would reduce magic damage, and was never KOed by tyrant tusk.

I have the worst luck with Tyrant Tusk. White HP, no Bio, Shellra5 on, and shit will still kill me at least half the time.

What is your hp? Iiirc I had just under 3k with sanguine scythe. Hume with 7 hp merits, all cruor buff abyssites.

Yeah I always made sure to use sanguine scythe with him. Cut my deaths down to pretty much 0 except those crazy blizzaga tusk combos. So pretty sure hp based. That put me around 2700ish I think. Stupid taru hp
