Awesome. Thanks.
Awesome. Thanks.
I won't be home so don't recall what I have on me is why, but anyway for atma I usually use razed/vv/and um...I forgot..sanguine scythe? I think. Someone told me to try mounted champion for the+vit boost to torcleaver, but I didn't really notice any difference. I want to do over 4k DMG, damnit! lolz. and no /thf sneak attack either, just /sam.
Not a crit ws, isn't really going to happen outside of having high TP and multi-attacks. RR apoc alpha omega is likely your best bet
I use apoc/ao/rr, and I've seen 6k shoha on that pixie body seal NM in grau. Should apply to torc easily as well. Maybe can replace one of them for that tp bonus one if it affects torc greatly.
I always used Razed Ruins/Apocalypse/Alpha&Omega when I used Caladbolg in abyssea.
You won't ever get 6k damage like Rehn's Shoha without sneak attack, but that's because Torcleaver is a much weaker WS than Shoha.
RR/Apoc/A&O all day every day. You might spike to 4k with that build, but I doubt you'll average it... then again, you'd have to severely gimp your overall damage to average 4k anyway. Just enjoy the WS spam.
Withh 99 cap h2h skills, with or without Melee Gloves +2 in place of 5/5 af3+2, is Faith torque worth using? Does it increase base dmg with or without above hands? Has capped h2h merits too.
can you buy crysta with a preloaded visa card? having bank issues and had to put a hold on my account.
Yes you can.
If you're using Tantra gloves +2 then you won't break the next damage tier with just Faith torque. If you're using Melee gloves +2, then you'll need Faith torque to hit the next damage tier. That said, if you have Tantra gloves +2 then I think using them and Rancor collar will do better than Melee gloves +2 and Faith torque.
Anyone wanna answer my question? Why does half the forum have the banned avatar & title, yet they're still posting everyday?
The "You are a gigantic faggot" avatar, along with "Banned" in red writing as their title. A ton of people have it, yet I see them posting often. Did they have a mod set their avatar & title so that it appears as though they're banned even though they're not? Serious question, I'm not trolling, and if I missed something somewhere, sorry ahead of time.
3x spam bots, 1 troll account, Colenzo, two Politics Forums infractions (one of which was reversed) in the last week. So three real infractions/bannings, 2 of them for 3 days or less in the last week. Maybe some people just set their avatar to that guy anyway?
Depending how old the threads are that you're looking at, a bunch of pretty heavy posters have been permabanned in BG's history.
Can anyone with a working Blu XML PM me with it? I posted in the spellcast thread yesterday but did not get a response. I have no idea what is wrong with mine and I can't get weapons to change. I tried just using Yugl's but his is so complicated it makes my head hurt just looking at it. Someone please share a blu xml!
Wow, holy shit, I didn't know this. Yeah, I was browsing through some old threads and saw some pretty heavy posters that were reputable and had what I thought was alot to contribute to the community banned. It totally threw me off. That's why I asked about it. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Holy shit, I figured the mods would want to keep the core posters around, guess not.
pchan was banned for starting fights. rog was banned for starting fights. Neosutra was banned for arguing with someone in every thread, but I forget who. Thorny was banned for starting fights. Fights go on for pages (and increase post counts) but don't generate any new information or really help anyone.
* I'd be the first to admit that pchan was willing to collect/analyze data and played a useful role in the community, but testing threads are much less derogatory and more approachable for new people without him around. There's no guy with 5,000 posts swooping in and threatening the health of your mother because you didn't get a sufficient sample size on your first outing anymore.
* I can count the pieces of novel information that rog contributed on one hand without using many fingers. His knowledge of the game was encyclopedic, but he himself did not generate new information. We've lost a little response time in RQT with him gone, but that's it.
* When Neosutra entered threads and argued about random crap, I'd just stop reading because I knew the thread was essentially dead. I can't say for sure if he ever tested stuff or not. I know that he has recently tested things on FFXIAH and is contributing to the Paladin community nicely.
* Thorny tested things and contributed strategies for endgame events as they were released, or optimized old strategies, but he was just too caustic for the community at this point. Last I heard he quit everything FFXI-related anyway.
I wasn't honestly happy to see any of these posters go. I didn't tend to end up arguing with any of them and knew how not to step on their toes. Still, all the negative stereotypes about BG that you see propagated through other boards are due to posters exactly like this. I'm not saying everyone who comes here looking for information is going to fit in, but we can gently show them the door instead of throwing them outside and then curb stomping them.
It used to be that asking misguided questions in RQT would get you verbally decimated by someone. Now people either just ignore it or try to redirect your question to something more defined so that they can answer it.
