Oh, I see. I'd thought in terms of Haste, which was silly to do since it's not skill-based.

Self Buffs are a little different. Since you only need to cast them once, who cares about recast? Any time you'd be casting them on other people you'd need to use accension (spelling?), and ideally you wouldn't miss anyone, so you don't need to worry about recast there either.

If you're already capped on skill, you might as well just use a siegel sash. It reduces cast time more than the other belt and reducing cast time is pretty much the only way to optimize your set.

Do Nomad Moogle's cause anyone elses game to freeze and is there a fix for it? the ones in Nashmau and Mhaura freeze me almost everytime I job change.

It's most likely blinkmenot. Could be spellcast or autoexec as well, I know it's one of the three though. (I disabled all three and it stopped crashing. Didn't feel like narrowing it down cause logging in is a bitch)

I'm doing Ig-Alima on COR with a BRD in the top DD party, and the bard refuses to do anything other than double minuets. I suggested double marches and chaos/miser's but everyone just said keep doing miser's/tactician's. Who's being dumb here?

Ideal Dancer Category 1 and 2 Merits? Asking for a friend; It's mainly going to be used for Dynamis farming, if that changes anything. Looking at them, I really have no idea since I haven't played dancer at all before.

Frustrating question about my trial weapon. I picked up the trial GK for tachi:kasha (sp?) and went with a friend to aby-latheine and started closing darkness on mobs.
About 4 hours later, still no latent break..I was not keeping track of the whole thing but there is no way I had less than 300 points in that time with the mass slaughter of wildlife, at least 90% of the mobs had 1 darkness sc on them before dying, others where miss or miss macro, etc.

Is there something else I'm missing? I had the GK equipped, was closing the ws (causing darkness skill chain), and the mobs where giving exp points/limit points..

...and yet it's the norm for /shout groups, at least on Odin. I usually just roll with it (pun intended) because shit's easy anyways, but not so much for Ig-Alima. It seems like most people think that miser's tactician's is the best thing ever and don't even know what chaos actually does.

Abyssea definitely works, it's not that. The "Latent: ____" never dissappears from the weapon, though, the effect just stops showing up (ie: naked except for GKat, you won't have 10 ice resist).

You should clear that in 60 dark-SC's, 4hrs should clear it just solo.

Otherwise... were you closing with archery? Darkness says "____ > Gekko" to me, but just to be sure, has to be a gkat ws.

In the process of having an account restored and was wondering how far back it can go and what's lost. Finished a 99 empy and a 99 relic on the account 9 days and 6 days apart from the hack, respectively. Should I just assume my progress on those items will be lost? Is it worth calling SE to plea that they're not erased, or does it all depend on the last available restore point?

When I was hacked many years ago they rolled me back to my last logout. It was only about 12 hours before being hacked, the downside was I got W legs in that 12 hours.

What's a good currency camp in Glacier? I understand other zones may be better for currency, but I'm trying to farm a Leering Bijou for a win (for alts) my next time I do the zone and want to maximize my time in there.
