I've heard of BST soloing Azdaja via dipper flailtank but I'm not feeling that brave and I'm not that good - would probably die in like 10 seconds flat.

If I remember correctly, that second one is if you don't trade in your whisper to make the Tarutaru forget ever meeting you. (The first time you use the 6 whispers to get a Moon bauble for Fenrir.)

All 3 of my chars have completed moonlit path, if I'm understanding your answer correctly, so I dont think thats it.

af1 hands are good for maneuvers, and relic cape is a nice DD piece

its only if you got the fork > killed said avatar > used whisper to get fenrir access. once you've done that once theres no way to get rid of the whisper w/out talking to the fork npc again, and using your whisper to get something from the npc makes him forget = long dialogue again. so you get a fork w/ little dialogue after unlocking fenrir, and thats the only time you can.

I leveled Dancer, which is my first dagger job. Which easy to obtain daggers are the best to use before I finish a STR ToM or two (which may take awhile)?

I have a Yata with +7 damage and +3% crit damage. Is Oynos knife decent, at least for when I won't have Haste? Any other good alternatives that I could get quickly, maybe Twilight? It's not a job that I plan on doing anything other than Dynamis and easy solos with.

Oynos is great solo / when you get stuck in the off party. Get a phurba. Twilight interferes with sambas.

I farmed up a popset for Pantokrator, so that's just waiting to go. I found Ironclad Triturator to be a huge pain in the ass for my normal 2box MNK+WHM setup. Maybe I was doing something wrong, but the difficulty of killing Triturator has made me gunshy about popping Pantokrator. I imagine he's probably easier though, right?

Followup question to this, since I still need the Zelus Tiara too...but I've heard answers that go both ways on this and yet to confirm either, is Zelus Tiara blue proc or can it drop just normally off mob?

after unlocking fenrir you get short dialogue once on each of the 6 fork npcs. after that its back to long dialogue.

Anyone have a solo strategy for Betrayal at Beaucedine? Just tried to do it on MNK as per the testimonial on that page and got eaten alive by the spells that the helper mobs cast. I guess I could wait for a friend to log in, but I'd rather do it on my own if at all possible.

I have RDM and MNK at 99, SMN at 93, and PLD at 90 (although most of my combat skills on PLD are still what they were at 80, haha).

Haste samba only requires one hit in the attack round to connect in order to reduce the delay to the next attack round. In the event the main hand missed, then sure, you might not get the effect (though I'd assume that Quadruple Attack, TP Drain, and so on would at least cancel that out in the long run).

Drain/Aspir samba themselves wouldn't proc on as many hits per round, but given that the reason they wouldn't be is HP/MP/TP drain always proc'ing anyway, I'm not sure that should be considered a deal breaker.

95 Spharai doesn't get the 40% boost so...

But yeah, Shijin all day every day regardless. If you're looking to the future, keep in mind the first 99 upgrade is the one that really matters anyway and anyone with a 95 relic should be able to complete it.
