Yeah I figured, I was already using Mekira-Oto over Twilight Helmet for Stardiver, and Soil belt. Would Soil gorget win out over Justicar's/Ire Torque+1?

Oh, and one other question. I've been seeing a few well-geared BST/NIN bringing OAT weapons back out for the offhand. The magian version, or just good old temp axe. Anyone know if there's a good math reason for it? I'm a bit behind the curve - only got back a couple months ago and OAT seemed to have gone out of style.

Bsts are some of the most questionably geared group I've seen since Blus. There's no reason other than ignorance.

I'm pretty sure OAT weapons just got a bad rap for jobs that sub /WAR because Double Attack doesn't play nice with OAT.

For BST these days, you're primarily subbing /DNC or sometimes /NIN. Last time I looked at it (before the most recent expansion), OAT Axe was actually a solid offhand for BST.

DA axe is still better, also didn't someone say that ruinator was able to DA off of all hits? Or was that just Resolution?

Aren't virtue weapons a special case for this, and their version of OAT is synergistic with DA (more DA = more chances for stones to proc, although max one stone per round)? I think I read that on BG wiki. So dual wield with axe+temp axe = max of 5 attacks per round (main hand swing+/-DA, then offhand temp axe swing +/- DA, plus max of one stone proc per round on one of the temp axe swings)?

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I used to know this stuff better but have been away for a long time. Not like I'd be using a temp axe anyhow although I have one on mannequin I think somewhere.

Is the only data you have that you posted on ffxiah.com forum? Did you parse it? Also were you using food or any other sort of boost when taking into account you having 700 attack? What were you fighting?

Would that really change much? BST is already likely sporting a fair bit of DA from gear. Offhand, Atheling/Twilight/Epona's/Brutal for 13%, Possibly another 2-5% from head/body/feet setup. Another chunk from a DA axe offhand would definitely push things in favor of that instead.

What is currently the best few GreatSwords for Resolution atm? Obviously Rag at #1, then what would the rankings be after that. Was aiming for Ig-Alima GS, but if there is something better id like to go for that until i get enough courage to start up another relic.

Been gone since the 90 cap. Is COR melee still viable? What're the best sets for melee/ranged/QD/Wildfire now? Last Stand set for a COR with an Armageddon?

What are the current DRG Rhongomiant TP/WS sets?

Are Stardiver and Last Stand worth unlocking?

Cor is more useful now than ever. Now they get save tp roll / and tp regain. Last stand puts out some really good numbers with the right set, its on par or beats wildfire under certain circumstances. Sorry no sets for Cor to give.

Stardiver is definately worth unlocking, it will put out consistant high numbers on higher def mobs. Well not high numbers over all, but high for drg. Drg Tp This is a pretty basic tp set for drg. Could use some improvements but its pretty cookie cutter atm. Stardiver This is Stardiver build, still needs wotg earring and 7str ring. other than that, its pretty standard aswell.

I believe wildfire is top for nearly everything unless you have a ton of atk buffs/RCB/capped racc, or the monster resists magic/fire dmg. Stardiver is good, and I think cor melee is pretty much dead.

Last Stand is definitely worthwhile for things with -mdt or resistance. Cor melee is pointless now because you can 4-5 hit gun even before miser's/tacticians, and you'll lose damage giving up Vulcan's Staff for a melee weapon.

Rag,OAT,Cala are you best.

Ig-Alima GSs are both very good as well for quick ones.

Implying that you will get borealis in a reasonable amount of time... Hoarfrost is ok as a temporary GS until you get something better though.

COR is awesome, Stardiver is very very solid. Last Stand is worth unlocking. And both jobs are getting updates soon, good time to come back for a COR/DRG.

Meant Hoarfrost for the quick one sry lol. It seems to drop a lot. Never seen a Borealis drop.
