What should my BST merits be as someone who just uses it for dynamis? So far I've done Call Beast Recast 5/5 and Beast Affinity 5/5.

though this was decided before dawn mulsum was introduced.
It's geared towards survivability rather than raw damage (although if you're pet cant manage 100% tp between ready recasts theres no real point to meriting sic/ready)

that being said, if you're soloing dynamis, perhaps meriting sic for more frequent JA procs is in your future.

Athos's Gloves question. For a ws like wildfire with a lv3 and lv2 skillchain property, would the boost to WS work on all of the "darkness" days? (earth, water, ice, dark)

I did pretty much the same except killer instinct instead of beast affinity since I'm fairly sure none of the popular pets now cap lower than us.

Thinking of redoing reward to sic though. Reward recast is pretty low as is and I can count the number of times I've needed to use it and it hadn't been up for ages on 1 hand. On the other hand with alot of good 2-3 charge moves now I find myself waiting on sic recast

I've had reward's at 90cap get pretty close, ive been considering revising them now though.

also the only two pets i'm using are gerard and falcorr, so perhaps demeriting beast affinity is in my future as well..

at least a few levels, gerard supposedly caps at level 95 (or rather, can only be level 95)

I wish Beast affinity could have an additional effect of guaranteeing pet level, but then monster gloves ...

I haven't tested Athos gloves themselves since I don't have but the same text is on Mekira-oto and that does indeed to all elements of a lvl3 skillchain property Is super easy to test though

Hmmm and according to bg wiki it only gives .05 ftp... seiryu still better for rng then. Alruna's Gloves might still be better to if that's the case

So, did you ever actually test Meki-Oto with a level 3 skillchain? When I look at your posts it appears you just tested Atma of Echoes with Wildfire.

Derp your right I just tested echos. I'd have to do CDC... which has it's own level of fun testing

Do you bother killing AV's regen anymore for 99 cap?

We did @95. Probably not necessary, but hey, no harm in doing it so we figured why not. Plus we only had 5 DDs on it our last run.

I'd say @99 killing the regen from the JoL's pets would be a luxury typically not needed. But if you are typically close to losing (time on PD running out) on your runs @95, I'd definitely kill it.

Nuking AV with the element of the day? No way.

You can get a Tarutaru Sash from Abyssea - La Theine with a Treasure Hunter +1 augment on it. Also, yes, /THF gives TH2.

It's possible to get it, but it should be noted that it's about as rare as a refresh hairpin or m. attk bonus 3 demon ring. I've seen only one TH sash in many, many, worm parties with capped amber.
