Stardiver is definately worth unlocking, it will put out consistant high numbers on higher def mobs. Well not high numbers over all, but high for drg. Drg Tp This is a pretty basic tp set for drg. Could use some improvements but its pretty cookie cutter atm. Stardiver This is Stardiver build, still needs wotg earring and 7str ring. other than that, its pretty standard aswell.

That TP set...Why 27 Haste? Blitz Ring not needed if you've got a 4 haste legs(which I have) Why Claymore over Pole Grip?

As for Stardiver, still awesome to see my Heca Leggings+1 with an additional 4 STR are still the best feet piece we've got.

Last Stand is definitely worthwhile for things with -mdt or resistance. Cor melee is pointless now because you can 4-5 hit gun even before miser's/tacticians, and you'll lose damage giving up Vulcan's Staff for a melee weapon.

5 overwhelm 4ikishoten 1 blade bash, and a combo of 5 meditate 5 stp 5 zanshin. zanshin vs meditate is more or less preference based. Both are a very minor increase to overall DPS.

You must've updated your sets, since you had an extra body in there for another +2 haste. Why not replace Goading with Bullwhip and Blitz with Hoard/Tyrant's ring to get a lower hit AND capped haste? I'm using this atm, and it was 6-hit/cap Haste.

Atheling and rancor collar are the obvious simple upgrades, can't comment on rest. That set has 27% haste btw

Apparently I forgot to fix that when I got one. Have an Atheling instead of the JSE backpiece.

What conditions cause Ketea to open it's mouth? I haven't been able to figure it out. When I have seen it open, it doesn't stay very long either.

Any new optimal SAM TP builds? I've been out of loop with SAM for awhile since I've been focusing on other jobs, all I am aware of is 5-hit and Ikoshoten builds, I use the Ikoshoten build currently but now haste/acc/att pieces are such an abundance, I was wondering maybe there was some situational builds floating around I should focus on? I know most of it is kind of based around your personal gear and swapping what ever around but I am just curious as to whats going around at the moment or maybe even some examples.

Would that really change much? BST is already likely sporting a fair bit of DA from gear. Offhand, Atheling/Twilight/Epona's/Brutal for 13%, Possibly another 2-5% from head/body/feet setup. Another chunk from a DA axe offhand would definitely push things in favor of that instead.

Just had a derp moment. Was going to ask why ~25% is better than an OAT weapon for 45%, then I remembered that it can proc on both hands. Herpderp!

Was thinking about using this also. Capped haste and 6hit as well. Same str but has 30ish more attack, but lacking dex/acc. But drg doesnt really lack in that, especially if they have lolGungnir. Not real sure how it would compare in the VW side of things.

Depends on the mob, they are close either way. ACC capped Mala is slightly better, ACC uncapped (high tier VW) then Bale is the way to go.

Is it possible to cap haste and 5-hit with Amano?(What would tp set look like) And if not, better to 6-hit with capped haste or 5-hit with uncapped haste?

Also for Shoha, what are the best neck and waist pieces?

Is it like the hpemdes in sea? if you damage them then turn your back for like ~30 seconds they will open their mouths and keep them open til you damage them. They don't seem to open their mouths if you are constantly hitting them though.

Hm. With Gungnir that seems better IMO. Omg -ACC ftl! A little bit of that for more attack is worth it, plus you don't get the -stats from Bullwhip. I'd be tempted to use that sort of set. Though I'd be back and forth over that or v3+2 body/Bullwhip for the guaranteed sTP, which would be needed for a lower hit, since sTP+6 is only under Sphere. Idk. I'd probably end up v3 body + bullwhip.

What? How is that cookie cutter? You're using Goading yet you don't need the STP... Bullwhip Belt is an easy drop and let's you use Calmecac Trousers in the leg slot, maintaining capped haste and adding DA/TA. That would be closer to a cookie-cutter 6hit.

Sphere effects don't affect the person wearing the gear.
