i've taken a look and both wikis seem ambiguous on this, but do you need to touch the riftworn pyxis to count as a win for abyssite upgrades?

Its looking like no to me and that you need only kill the mob. but I'm with a random group and we're not very proficient at killing Giltine.

My own question: Did anyone else's macro pallet never get changed to the new version? I suppose it doesn't really matter anymore since they are making it an option to change back and forth, but I am still curious.

We had a rng DC, but didn't poof until after mob was dead and didn't return until after chest depop. Was able to rank up, but /grain_of_salt, it wasn't me personally who didn't touch the chest.

i personally had to afk for a fight when i was doing bastok 1-4, i did have a stone but never checked the chest. abyssite still upgraded.

also, following the trend of other sky abj augments i bet hq is 5. was hoping someone had a set of their own and could screenshot ^^

Was there ever really good evidence of double attack/triple attack being able to proc twice on H2H weaponskills?

Wanted to ask this in a way that hopefully wouldn't get me jack-slapped.
If you needed a reliable way of handling a 2boxed WHM that didn't involve tabbing back and forth constantly or using a whole separate macro setup for "send" commands.
Possibly an application of some soft, would there be any one should read up on?

as for Goblin Golem, I beat it 2 nin 1 whm 1brd, it did manage to cast death once, but we finished it off easily

what my duo-2box group (of two) did was storetp, open with a hi > hi > darkness with double march

the rest is just burning it down.

With how Walk of Echoes is now with no one ever doing it, what is the best way to get coins for fake empys? Maybe some low man strategies for Anguis or something?

Concidering how rare the upgrade mats are for fake empys are after HKCs and that lower level woe weapons are beaten in most cases by higher level elemental/da/oat paths, is there much point?

5 SMN is NP vs #7

I've done #5 as mnk + rdm, but the hydra wins about 50% of the time, and then I retry (8 wyverns takes <10mins, so have 35, more than enough, to do hydra) - baraero (and keep applying it) and mdt for trembling spam help a lot. 3 people, mage melee melee would have an easier time with the hate resets - 1 melee at a time, swap on reset, offtank melee a little then back out - if you get reset during it's buff-spam phase, it's hard to get hate back unless mage stands and takes hits.

Yes, STR | WSD, maybe even +DA/OaT magians should beat a maschu+2.

Which of the magians puts out the most with Upheavel? Thinking of just doing that now.

WSDMG probably the best Uph. numbers, but I'd think +DA overall, esp since war with +DA weapon will be pushing 40%ish DA.

Disclaimer, I'm no war, nor have I looked at the war spreadsheets, this is just general feel of what'd do best.

+VIT magian takes all of 5 hours, gets you WSC, and PDT as well - potentially a good holdover until you work on a longer one.

MsJans. Should be a thread in Advanced about it. Allows you to add buttons to perform actions on your party/alliance members. Been using it for a couple weeks and it's nice when my WHM alt is the only healer.

I remember on PS2 being able to hold square in an inventory menu to scroll up by pages. Is there a way to get this to work on PC with my PS2 controller, or even a keyboard method?

It's not square (I think). I can't actually tell you which button it is, because I do it automatically, but I think it is one of the L/R buttons + left and right. It works on my PS2 controller connected to my PC.

I use the side buttons on the d-pad to do that.

I just press left-right, dont have to press anything else....unless you mean when in a double menu (any place where you can swap items around), I believe its whatever buttons you set for your macro palettes.

Yeah, sorry should've been more specific, I meant when you're in an inventory menu like safe/satchel where left and right change between the 2 and don't page up and down. Can't seem to get any of the buttons to do it, I actually forgot that it was something that's possible since its been so long since I played PS2 and its never worked on PC. Maybe I'll play in the config a bit and see if I can figure it out.

Wow nevermind it is macro buttons. I swear I tried them a minute ago and it didn't work, thanks!
