What is the food effect for Maringna?
What is the food effect for Maringna?
Is finale the only option to dispel Odin at 99 or does Dispel land now with level difference? I'm assuming he's immune.
I was the first one surprised, but apparently Ukko's is not the best-no-questions-asked anymore. And those calculations were with the unnerfed version of Blood Rage, also. Maybe, (haven't checked yet) with the new nerfed BR Upheaval will pull ahead even with BR down. I doubt it, but I don't know.
Of course, there coud be something wrong in Motenten's spreadsheet (I'm not counting on that), and more importantly, Buhkis is a pretty bad target to measure performance against hard VW mobs (I bet VW Jeuno, Zilart, and Jeuno II final tiers have quite higher stats), but the difference, with that data, is there.
Yesterday, I asked which scythe is best for DRKs, and didn't receive an answer. That's probably for the best, as I feel I can be more detailed this time around, and that may help someone formulate an answer.
I've never played DRK (beyond leveling it for a subjob, back when that was considered a fun thing to do), and have no intention of doing so. However, I understand that Torcleaver is a good WS, which gives a better reason for using GS on DRK nowadays. Before Torcleaver, as far as I understood things, Guillotine was the be all, end all, and the lackluster scythe WS offerings that followed did nothing to change that.
How is it today? Is there reason to use a scythe over a GS with Torcleaver? Is there a scythe WS comparable in performance with a certain weapon? What would a DRK seeking reasonable damage want to pick up, both now (from the AH or a relatively easy NM, for example) and later (Empyrean, such as the aforementioned Torcleaver's bearer, Caladbolg)?
It really only pulls ahead on weaker mobs. Assuming even T3 VWNM Ukko's pulls ahead even with BR down.
As for Maschu+2, 5 hit MAschu+2 was behind WS damage sumeru+2 marginally when BR down, but was ahead with UF when BR was up. Still don't think it's worth bothering with however.
EDIT: It seems the comparison included new gear, UF falls abit behind assuming current gear. At the same time, UF hasn't been nerfed live yet either, and pulls ahead with current crit rate.
I've been guesstimating based on Proth's testing of their Int/Mnd/Chr values (Assumed T3 are level 106), for T6 I assumed level 112 and boosted def/eva/agi/vit.
Best resolution feet for drk? Hecatomb +1 with atk/10str or am I missing something?
Are there any GoV pages and camps in Den of Rancor that are leech-friendly a la Bostanieux Oubliette?
What's the best low-man set for Arch Mega Boss in Dynamis - San d'Oria?
Prettymuch anything that can build a set for it (kill dc orcs fast enough not to get wrecked by charmga/repops) can kill archboss. Stun nice to have for Death, sleepga for adds. It uses 100fists, depending *how* lowman you might want to try to stun/kite it during that.
If you're trying to do it with 2 99's - probably could kill archboss, but not tome NMs. If you're trying with 6, might need to pull tome NMs out of DC areas to avoid repops, but should be able to kill with DDx4 BRD WHM style setup.
Tome NMs give confrontation status, eh? Can't pull them too far from the pop point? (far enough to not be in the DC area?)
No - they have a 15min before depop timer, but only boss/archboss give status.
Edit: Ok, I see - if you cleanly pull the gate/stables NMs to the clear area by the boss, it's definitely possible to do with less than 6(DD, Sacpull, Healer, and kite in open space during charm). It's been a little while since I was in sandy though, I don't believe there is a clear spot near the one at the far west house.
Best non empy/mythic gun for cor?
MAB magian should be fast with perma-ice weather in ule/castlez. Best? Not sure, but fast and "good enough", maybe.
If you have 5/5 last stand, maybe wind? Agi/Racc(not sure how much that's needed on cor)
Otherwise ^ MAB will be done extremely fast. STR/Ratt probably "best" but if you're going to spend that much time on it, do emp.
