Lancer's Torque apply to Healing Breaths or just elemental ones?
Also THF group 2 merits? Not really worried about VW procs, if those are procs.

Someone posted it somewhere, but I can't find the damn thing: an updated resources for windower? Mines still showing 'unknown abilities' from the 90's for some reason, and I know I updated @ 95.

This one should work, and it should also fix statustimer's durations to be more current.
Here is status.xml updated with new durations as well:

Is Boxer's Mantle still relevant?
I prefer max aura steal, the utility of being able to steal powerful buffs was always worth more to me.
It depends what you are fighting. Against high level enemies, where you really need an evasion build on evasive jobs, the parrying skill on Boxer's will likely (not thoroughly tested) not do anything. As such, there are several better evasion options. On weaker content for the same jobs, you wouldn't need to wear an evasion back to cap evasion.
Somewhere like Dynamis fighting EPs or Salvage for jobs like Dark Knight or Warrior, Boxer's would likely add both Parry rate and Evasion rate. That would make it the best defensive back armor.
I personally still use mine on Dancer because the modest evasion gains from any other option aren't worth it to me.
What about on PLD though? Non-Ochain?
Weighing against Loq earring, which is meh to me.
I need help with WHM macros. I got back a couple of months ago, and BST is done, BRD almost done (need 2 more +2 jewels) so WHM is next. It is currently level 80 and I can get it to 99 in a few days. I'm currently working on +2 legs and head, and then ArkaIV (or Tefnut Wand + aug Genbu Shield, I guess).
I know that cure potency, cure cast time, haste and -enmity are all important, but can someone tell me what goes in precast, what goes in midcast, and what goes in aftercast, and why?
Also, what are the priorities for an idle set? Refresh/pdt?
Thanks! I'm comfortable playing BST and BRD and now want to get up to speed on WHM. A lot of the leveling for my WHM has been done in Dom Ops etc - not exactly a good training ground.
Cure casting time is precast. Ah set includes Nefer kalarsiris, cure clogs. Rare/ex includes af3+2 pants, loq earring.
Whm cure potency is going to look something like: cure staff, af3+2 head, fyjla +1 neck, roundel & prison earrings, af3+2 body, augurs gloves, af back, af3+2 legs. That's 50% cure potency and af bonuses on body legs. Most of those pieces come with some emnity - on them. I'd personally recommend two mind rings, Pythia sash and af3+2 legs to round out the set
Idle set is Terra's, refresh hairpIn, twighlight neck, moon shade warring with refresh augment, af3+2 body, Serpentes hands/legs, augmented dark ring x2, umbra cape, and refresh subligar.
Cure cast time and fast cast go in precast, because they modify teh amount of time it takes to cast the spell.
Cure potency, Haste, Fast Cast, and -enmity go in midcast, because those affect the actual effects of the spell (and the recast).
Aftercast is pretty much used for your Idle set, but you could do it differently if you want. I know some ppl aftercast in PDT, but then have a seperate idle macro for things like refresh gear
That's what I do (on SCH). Don't forget movement speed+ too (this may be more of a SCH thing though). I guess if i had to assign a priority it would be Movement speed (only 1 piece anyway) -> Refresh (since this is rarer) -> PDT -> MDTAlso, what are the priorities for an idle set? Refresh/pdt?
That's really helpful - much appreciated. It looks as though I was on the right general track with plans for gear.
One more question - when does haste go into macros, for spells like Erase and Haste?
Thanks! I could probably grab a completed xml for WHM that would do all of this for me, but would prefer to actually understand it!![]()
As if AC is good for anything other than occasionally epeen WS screenshots (and even then, not any higher than you could get without it) "Woo, I get 2 extra attacks every 5 minutes, at the cost of JA delay".
The "correct" answer is at least 1 in aura steal, 1 in feint divide the other 9 amongst feint/AC/AS however you damn well feel like it.
Haste is macroed in mid-cast (as was mentioned), since it only needs to be in when the spell fires off.
Also, as a comment on potency, you don't need to use a second potency earring if you use one of the two 4% potency capes instead of the Orison one. My WHM mule uses an Arka IV (24%), +2 head (10%), Roundel (5%), Augur's hands (4%), Oretania's Cape (4%), and Fylgja +1 (3%) to reach 50%.
Hitting 50% potency, in and of itself, is fairly easy with WHM. The focus tends to be more on consolidating it into fewer slots in order to fit in Empyrean legs/body. I think you can configure for AoE cures differently, since cureskin only applies to single target cures. All I do is swap Augur's body in (for more MND and -enmity) instead of Empyrean, but I'm sure someone with more focus on WHM might do something more extensive.
