Last night I was killing Enkidus when Zipacna happened to sashay on by and link on me. I killed the Enkidus and Zipcana, and he dropped two Gems of the North, I have never seen this before. Is this something that he has always happened but never in any of the Zipacna kills that I have ever done, is this something that they changed in the last few years, or is my Treasure Hunter to hot that it breaks the laws of reality?

It's an older change. All sky triggers (gems, stones, and seals) can double drop now. I think they added it at the same time they added Sky gear augments.

We were farming God pops to make a Kirin set because one guy in my ls, after all these years still needed w legs lol, and every lesser nm we did dropped double their God pop item, except for one of the two Ullis we did. One kill he dropped two, the other just one. I think it was something SE added in recent years that I have no idea when, we were all surprised by it too, and had never seen that happen before.

I did a quick look around the otherwiki, seems most of the NMs can drop two PI. I don't recall that also, perhaps it was adjusted when they did the augmented abjuration update? I know they added chance of 2 god seal drops for that.

OK, that would be long after I did sky. It was fairly mind-boggling to see two of them just by chance of him meandering by.

So you're innitial 4str=5att=2agi rough guide still holds true, thank god because it's what I've been basing most of my chocies around xD

I'd be interested in seeing how DA dagger compares to Str dagger offhand now concidering Thf can /War happily after recieving DW3 natively.

Dunno about thf, but double attack parazonium is one of the best mainhand daggers in the game that is "easy" to get. The next best daggers are all much harder shit like empy, relic, coruscanti, etc etc.

Str dagger is best offhand outside abyssea afaik, and for dnc auric is best offhand inside abyssea since fStr is capped, putting auric marginally ahead of str dagger.

This is all just the "easy" daggers, btw. If you have twashtar, mandau, or coruscanti that completely changes the dynamic of the job. And this is also for dnc, I have no idea for thf since it plays completely differently.

Is supernal knife worthless to a thf or dnc without any magian daggers due to its high delay? My gut says yes, but it looks shiny and I like shiny things.

Dnc can equip Mandau? How does Coruscanti change the dynamic of the job at all?

That was changed a while ago, I think around the time they added the aug's on sky gear. I dont think it was announced in the patch notes though because I cant find it.
