Recently started using Spellcast and don't know how I've played for years without it. Was a little tricky to set up as some of my old .dll files were outdated. I asked a couple friends (known them for years and are very trusted) for advice and they asked that I download Teamviewer so they could take a look at my files. They did and fixed the issues I was having. Spellcast now works great and I'm using it for all my jobs.

Now for the question- would changing anything in Spellcast or plugins or anything associated with all that effect my in-game sound effects? Because since then, the sound effects are just... gone. POL sound effects work fine, background music is fine but any other sound effect is now missing. I have checked the registry files, the Windower GUI, the in-game sound settings and, of course, Google for answers. Nothing seems amiss on any setting and Google didn't provide any useful advice. Aside from re-installing the entire game. Anybody have any ideas? Kinda driving me nuts.

Definitely not, 1 pt buffed is more than enough even with full regen.

Really not worthwhile, depending on total haste (JA delay time added) it *might* be worth popping for WS and cancelling right after for the +15-ish TP.

Until saveTP nerf shows up, Discipline+Misers+Footwork(fulltimed) can return in the 80TP range after WS, with some STP tweaks could likely manage ws > 1 hit > ws.

Yes.

1 pld or rdm or a duo to hold lamps, a party of 6 to kill pw using standard party set up (dd dd dd sch brd whm) would probably work easily. Could even 2hr embrava if you want to see a very dead pw. Maybe nins if you're scurred of AF.

Our last PW it started to use Astral Flow at ~75% and it was dead before it went off but we had 6 DDs on it.

Astral Flow will wipe the party if it goes off without PD but you have 2 hours so can just do 25% at a time, it doesn't regen.

Ok I need a better strat for farming base AF3 feet because this shit just isn't working. "Get 80-120ish Amber, 0 Ruby/Azure and build pearl" = Me cleaving with 0 Ruby/Azure, 120 Amber, 150 Pearl and getting twice as many fucking red/blue boxes as amber ones, and the few amber ones I'm getting filled with fucking moonbeam fucking clams.

This a case of "shit luck, sux2bu, keep trying"? Or there better ways? I've already wasted about 8 hours 2box trying to get these and I'd rather not spend another 8 fucking hours.

There really isn't a better way, though capping pearl probably wouldn't hurt. I blew up a chest the other day with 3 shoes in it that only gave me 10 cruor, so chest quality level doesn't have an impact on them.

When I did specific feet farming, I would shoot for capped pearl, capped amber, just enough azure to get TE boxes, and no ruby.

Shit sucks, luck, sux2bu, etc... It really does suck, and not much you can do beyond praying to the R.N.G gods.

We have a blu that was leveled for nothing other than procs in Abyssea and Voidwatch. I know this job can be useful for other things, but I certainly haven't seen it! My questions are:

-What spell set do people run with for wiping out fodder monsters (thinking Dynamis or Nyzul) or level 75 content?
-When taking down fodder monsters, what does a typical cycle look like (pre-fight buffs->sequence of JAs and spells used)
-I see a lot of talk about MP upkeep not being a problem... how? Am I overestimating the amount of MP used (assuming only self-refresh spell and idle-gear auto-refresh)?

I know spell sets will be situational, but we're dealing with a blu that auto-attacks and throws out the occasional self-darkness skillchain. General help on strong damage spells, spell set bonuses to shoot for, and spell/JA usage patterns will go a long way.

I think this applied only to guild/equipment NPC's, they just used an odd wording with 'vendor'. Airship, grocery, and spell NPC's are still nationalist dickheads.

@ PW, Scherzo/EA won't work. The problem is that they all AF for moderate damage at the same time. No single AFs will kill you, but all at once is almost sure to.

How about 50% MDT + Sacrosanctity + Diffusion Magic Barrier + Full cured HP after Mantra?

Sacrosanctity is only going to work for one astral flow. Kinda worthless.
