Are there any soloable-easily ways of getting seals for raider set? Looks like most of the quest/NM's for all of the thief set are unsoloable(even remotely reliably). Where as some jobs get some 'free' pieces with how dumb easy some quests are.

For head I've solo'd Gieremund and Pallid percy on a few different jobs back at 85. For body I've solo'd Blanga and Shaula on thf and on nin. For hands I've solo'd Chickcharney alot on thf and I can't think of a melee that can't solo Audumbla. Legs I did Athamas. That was soloable at 85 as well. For feet Iktomi. Also easy solo. Done every peice solo on thf at least once. Thf good cause without good set of procs you wont get much without th. Of course you could get everything alot faster if you just shout with people taking other stuff than thf...

The big slug that drops thief head seals is also soloable /DNC. It has a silence, amnesia, etc. aura, but you can just stand outside of the aura's range.

Why would you want to resort to doing the quests at lv99?!? the NM's were easy at 90...99 should be cakewalk.

Well, you more or less mentioned them. Minikin, Razed Ruins. Get by with the atma you buy from quests until you unlock those. https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Atma > Synthetic Atma for that list.

Yes, good atma give you effectively god mode, but they're not required to kill anything in abyssea.

If you don't have all your lunar abyssites and the see-weaknesses abyssite... get those first.

Uh.... pick any of the MNK/NIN/DNC/THF pattern NMs, shout for a BLM who wants one of the other seals, and go duo them... with TH and a solid lock on the majority of procs it will be fine, a blm can focus on proccing and if necessary toss you some cures. Seriously though a 99 THF with capped evasion shouldn't have much difficulty with any of the NM that drop those seals. Off the top of my head, there is cep-kamuy in vunkerl for feet seals, audumbla in ule range for hand seals, athamas in mis for leg seals, berstuk in attohwa for head seals, and probably blanga in ule for body seals.

If you hate people so badly you can't find some random people to do NMs with... there is an easy Ule quest for body seals and an easy Mis quest for leg seals that I can think of off hand, very easily soloable, also pretty sure there is an easy vunkerl quest for feet seals. This is all off the top of my head, so you must not have researched very hard to find out options for yourself.

Would it be worth it to go from capped -mdt to uncapped -mdt with a Shadow Ring instead of a -mdt6 Dark Ring?

My NIN currently sits at -25%mdt, and I would drop down to -mdt19% if I replaced my Dark Ring with my Shadow Ring. All this is assuming I have Shellra5

Yes, it would. Even at capped MDT-, Shadow Ring averages out to -6.5 MDT.

Ive run into it in two different zones now. First saw it in attohwa just outside of conflux 8. Guy was standing the cave popping the T2 vnm at the bottom of the slop without moving out of the cave. Also seems the be the popular way to pop Koios/Brulo in altep as well >.<

What's a good synergy of salvage drops to go for, if I want to take a couple people and try to get skadi feet for myself. What other drops might we get on a skadi feet run, that someone else might be interested in?

Or is that about all that's still good from salvage anymore, other than alex, such that anyone that goes with me will probably want them, too?

Damage mechanics are unknown, as Byrth said, but according to SE, we should gear as we would for an Helix spell, with emphasis on int.

Other than that, tick damage is lower than initial damage, and probably 1/3 of that value, and ticks every 3 seconds like a normal tick, instead of every 10 seconds like an Helix. Duration is probably tied to Dark Magic skill, but that isn't tested.
