Does the Ranged Attack % on Red Curry caps lower when it's converted to buns, like the posts on FFXIAH.com suggest? There's no sources or references, and tbh I never looked much into it, I just assumed it was the same for both (as it seems Yellow Curry/Buns don't change at all). That post planted the seed of doubt on me though;

Did the BST pet TH change already go through? Afterwards all THF pets are limited to just TH1 right?

On the topic of red curry, I notice the curry is 3h, and bun is 30min, why are people spending more on 30minutes; their attack on wiki lists cap is same.

Chance of losing a 3 hour food if you die with red curry, pretty much the only reason.

3h = 180 mins
30m X 12 = 360mins

Also red curry is one of the ingredients of the buns, do you usually sell your finished products for less than the material costs?

Red curry is around 30k on my server, and buns are 100-120k.

i dont know the price of curry on mine, but the price of dragon meat is 40-50k each, buns sell for 120k as well.

Takes 2 curry to make 1 stack of buns.

Also generally red curry is only used to skill up to 100. The people that sell it just don't go thru the effort to then make it into buns.

Also I'd pay more per/hr for buns than red curry simply because deaths or events not lasting the full length of the food makes you waste more of your curry time. And space saver

I was using wikis numbers. 62/256 1 merit. 70/256 fully merited. 1/256 per merit lvl from pants and 5/256 from ring/earring which I though I saw some testing saying they stacked. So total of 80/256 ~ 31.25. 29.3 if they don't stack

If this is the case, how long has it been since Red Curry has sold on your server?

On Bahamut, Red Curry is 70k, Red Curry Buns are 130k at the moment. Looks like people are either making their own curry or are willing to lose a little gil for the chance at HQ.

Red curry sells rarely, but dragon steaks(probably because of mystry box goblin) and hydra kofte sell commonly at 30-35k on Phoenix. They both give the same atk, and hydra kofte even gives defense. I'm retarded and got dragon steaks and red curry mixed up, red curry is 50-60k. But yeah, you can easily find a 30k alternative(Dragon steaks or hydra kofte) for the same stats.

I don't think it has. Mostly based on the fact that they were supposed to change recipe too and haven't yet and the fact that Lucky broth is actually selling better than before. And yeah looks like Th1

The change did not happen yet. And after it does, pets will be TH1, but with the chance to reach up to TH3 with gear. So all hope is not lost for BST.
