From my experience last night, you COULD duo them, but it won't be easy. The pld/smn one in particular was a fucker. Rest of them we just proc>zerg, none died before stagger wore, but they're not so bad.

Finished 2boxing 50 Chloris buds, lost what little soul I had left. On to Ulhuadshi. I don't feel like dealing with trying to claim Amun. Original otherwiki says both KIs drop from gold boxes. But otherotherwiki says Amun's KI does not. Can anyone confirm which is right?

For the record, I plan to 2box MNK+WHM, with a 3rd character boxed to hold KIs. Expect a ton of Itza pops but will just use those since likely to do Ukon sooner or later. Cata-burning on MNK and then 2boxing Ulhuadshi is a legit strategy, right? Certainly not the fastest, but has the significant advantage of minimizing contact with other humans.

Amun drops from gold chests. Least on out server, it's also sitting up a lot of the time, though, so swing by first to try for a freebie before you go for amber lights.

After Chloris, Ulduadshi will seem like a vacation. Amun isn't bad at all to camp and you can do amber boxes+ him to make it even faster.

Where is the best place to set up shop in Dyna-Beauc for farming both forgotten thoughts and currency? I have heard higher level mobs have higher forgotten drop rate -- so does that mean hydras would be best bet or just stick to lower level mob groups and kill more of them?

For a non-empy MNK, is shijin spiral generally the new best WS? Trying to decide on what merit WS to cap next.

Timed out at 20%. Chainspelled during flight. Could have streamlined a few things and probably saved about 5 mintues. Maybe if I had been /nin and using a Dagger with Evisceration/Exenterator instead of /blu with vorpal Blade, it would have been better too.

But I'd rather not risk a second KS99 to find out. So back to original question:

Whats the minimum other people I'd need for it and what job set up? Would something like War/Drg/Thf + Whm + Blm work? Melee serk it on ground, blm nukes in air?

Geodes seem to drop from anything that is EP to 75+. I am not sure if that means they drop from level 56 and higher mobs, or if they have the same rule as Kindreds and could potentially drop from lower mobs but have to give XP. I may have to test this...

We do know that Avatarites drop from 80+ mobs.

Anyway, if you do the Fungaurs or Quadavs you should get tons of geodes.

Yeah, shijin is the best non smite WS majority of the time.
