Louis CK - Time Machine
Conclusion: Rape Vader instead. He'd be too depressed and crying in the shower w/ his helmet off, to kill all the younglings.

Good old time travel.
And really, what sci-fi series goes without a little time travel?
Oh, I forgot, Battlestar Galactica.
http://geektyrant.com/news/2013/1/10...tv-series.htmlRemember that Star Wars: Underworld TV series that George Lucas was working on? Well it looks like ABC is looking into possibly producing it! ABC entertainment president Paul Lee told EW...
Now one of the reasons the series never went into production was because it would have been too expensive to produce because they wanted top of the line special effects for every episode. Former producer Rick McCallum previously explained,We’d love to do something with Lucasfilm, we’re not sure what yet. We haven’t even sat down with them. We’re going to look at [the live-action series], we’re going to look at all of them, and see what’s right. We weren’t able to discuss this with them until [the acquisition] closed and it just closed. It’s definitely going to be part of the conversation.
I hope if ABC decides to take it on that they honor that vision. The series already has 50 hours of script written, and it's been described as The Godfather and Deadwood in space. They are very adult oriented stories, and if ABC decides to move forward with the series I hope it turns out as badass as it could be.The situation we have is that each episode – or if you put two hour long episodes together – is bigger than any film we’ve ever done. It’s on the Avatar level and we’ll only have about $5-6 million we can spend on each episode.
McCallum also called the scripts the most “provocative, bold and daring material that we’ve ever done.”

Wow, ABC, which is also owned by Disney is "looking into possibly producing it"? Shocking. -_-
thread was started like a year ago....damn it people make this already so we can hate it!
The good news: Lucas can no longer fuck with it. The costs are lower now, since it'd be Disney licensing the series to it's own network (ABC). In fact, putting it all under one roof should actually make the episodes cheaper than when Lucas was floating the idea.
Oh, and expect Clone Wars off Cartoon Network now that Disney owns Star Wars. They'll want it for themselves.
If ABC can demand the quality they put forth in Once Upon a Time (another show who's premise gave me a big "what in the fuckity fuck is this shit?" before it aired), then it's extremely possible this would do well.
people may hate on anything Disney, but I'd say ABC is a way saver bet than Fox considering what was done to:
Firefly
Doll House
Arrested Development
Family Guy
etc. etc. etc.
How dare you lump Futurama into the etc. category. However putting Firefly first on that list makes it ok.
Underworld and 1313 not dead, just shelved until they have time to redevelop it
Rumored to become a Netflix series
