I'm pretty happy Perry didn't take off. When campaigns started he had lots of hype but it went no where. Not that the spread of candidates is good, but I think he was the next worst next to Santorum.

He said he won't release his tax records until April (so he'll try his hardest to have his shit as cleaned up as possible by then) but it's still going to be another wave of criticism when he's the official nominee.
