careful, my cousin got a transformer this christmas and good fucking god it had a lot of unexpected small and swallowable parts. just saying. and they're still putting toys in their mouths until like age 3-4

when you changed it into a truck it had like 20 less than 1" plastic pieces that just popped off and had to be set aside, and he kept absentmindedly putting the gun piece in his mouth... ugh. I just confiscated all of them and put them into a ziplock and "lost" them on top of the kitchen cabinets. it can be an equally great transformer without being The Most Dangerous Toy Ever Made

we tell our kids they can be anything they want to be but as soon as a kid says they want to be a toy-part swallower we get all hysterical and say things like 'think of the children' and ruin their dreams

At least it doesn't have features like lead paint and carcinogens like this Thomas the Tank Engine Transformer undoubtedly has in spades.
