the only thing that makes blogs faggy is when you talk about your daily trials & tribulations instead of offering something that builds a subscriber or frequent reader base and then converts those views to some form of financial return.

otherwise the current blog trend of conveyor belt information + product association & promotion can feed a mother fucking family with a single, worthwhile blog. $200 a month in fucking adsense isn't even hard if you let it sit for a year while doing maybe 2-5 hrs a week tops of intelligent optimizing & promotion. it's like fucking dynamis-bastok circa CoP. the LS's that thought that shit was hard were fucking retards and thats what made it hard, not the inherent difficulty of the task at hand

CMS+on page SEO+offsite SEO+product &/or service association (amazon, adsense, niche-specific CPA or affiliate connections) = $$. $10/wk is fucking faceroll kiddie pool shit. im building a blog right now around a $30 affiliate sale. Page 1 google on one word (500 searches/month local, low but easy to rank for), page 3 a 6.6k search per month word, should be page 1 by early feb. with 2k views per month its a $600/month site @1% conversion but i can probably do 3%+. And that's only on the search result landing pages, not the entire site
