    Just the first wave of each chamber is needed to progress to the final chamber. You enter the final chamber by trading the trophies from defeating the first wave to the taru to get key items, and then you can pick the final chamber when you have all 4 key items.

    As for it scaling, the dev / community team stated somewhere that the difficulty would vary based on 18/36 man groups. As far as I know, einherjar does not scale.

    had a friend go with this lolpug to do hall of An 18man they only got 1st wave wyrm to 57% before wiping and no other mobs dead(lol), did 30582 dmg to do 43% of hp or possibly ~70k hp total not sure if it has slight regen or not I cant remember from the ones I did soloholding wyrm on pld

    You got lucky then, because there were times when we'd enter a t3 with 18, we'd get 2 set + 2 set/boss, and sometimes with a full 36 we'd get 1 set + 1set/boss. It didnt scale at all.

    Anyone know what causes Turtle to randomly start taking double damage from magic? He wasn't at the start (ice nukes doing 2-2.3k ish) but then at some point he started taking anything up to 5k damage.

    We've been concentrating on An chamber (Behemoth, Wyrm, Turtle)

    Drops from the first wave seem rather consistent... I think we've gotten about 6 of the back piece with +25 ATT, +5 Evasion.
    Additionally, I believe each one dropped a Legion XP scroll (still only gave me 500-600 when used... worthless)

    We've only managed to clear the Turtle on wave 2, and it dropped 2 Xp scrolls (inorite? omfg).

    We've gotten a Corvine Abjuration: Feet (I think that's what it was) from the 2nd tier behemoth in An. It is squishy to ranged attacks.

    after some personal experience with 18 and 36 people, i believe it is safe to say the difficulty is about the same. lets just say that if you enter with 18 personal(good) ls members you can do well, if you enter with 30+ ls members(just as good with a few 2boxers and a couple of fill ins) you can except to beat wave2 with proper management and job adjustments. however getting information of wave2 mobs is pretty hard to come by. making this setting up strategies kind of difficult.

    most of the mobs in these chambers has much more restricted aoe's.

    example would be wyrm wings, breath blast while in air, etc. a typical hnm wyrm can stretch it's aoe's up to 40' yalms, where the wyrms inside hall of an is only up to 15-20' yalms. this allows mages to step out of range if theyre smart. i've noticed meteor had lower range(around its target) as well as thunderbolt. a lot of the mobs in these chambers also have restricted tp usage. such as the HNM cerberus can use all of its respective tp moves, while the cerberus inside wave 1 only uses sulferous breath and gates of hades(and tail swipe with hate behind).

    there are some mobs that possess incredibly high evasion in wave2, where it would make your ls's melee accuracy go below 50% if they haven't changed their gear from wave 1. wave 2 also has increased evasion of enfeebles(or immune) but i haven't been able to record which is which yet.

    but the difference of evasion seems to be about the same between 18 and 36 people.

    i also take about the same amount of damage between 18-36 people fights. and the mobs def doesn't seem to change either, just only the hp.

    also i joined a PUG at carbuncle last night. and this is what the alliance leader said. many lols were had that night.

    Did ToAU hall yesterday. Good strat with 18.

    Party setup:
    4DD SMN SCH (Hydra)
    PLD BRD WHM RNG BLM COR (Cerb)
    PLD BRD WHM RNG BLM BLM (Hydra)

    Strat was to enter with buffs, drop the SMN and do SV songs on the DD party then Embrava and have the BRD drop back into the Hydra party (Used the Hydra BRD due to Darda/Gjall). SMN did PD and DD's zerged down Hydra while the 2 other pt's grabbed their respective mob and started to take it down. Hydra went down fast and the DD's started on Cerb. It's probably better for the DD's to ease off and split up. Found that since all 4 went to Cerb it TP'd more than I would like to see and made it more difficult on the WHM. Also Hydra is a lot more squishy than Cerb >.>. I switched to Hydra as 1 of the 2 Anni RNG's we had and we managed to take him down fast. Was averaging 2k Coronach's and didn't have any accuracy issues. After taking down the Cerb and Khim we had the COR drop and reset the DD parties 2hrs. Another problem we ran into was that our SMN did not rest her MP and had 700mp for the second PD. We were trying the same strat for the second wave and it would have worked very well but the DD's PD didn't last as long as expected and they ended up wiping at 35%. Loose hydra made everything more difficult. Again I would stick the 2 RNG's on Khim next time because we were both on Cerb to start and switched when our PLD on Khim was taking him down pretty well. I didn't rly notice any accuracy issues on the t2 Khim. Was averaging 2k Coronach's and did a 5k Barrage while we managed to get him to 3% before Hydra and Cerb came to ruin things. Noticed that using Ochain was more effective than using Aegis. Will try again with things learned from this run. Rly think a clear in this chamber can be attained with a good group.

    Grats, I think an 18 man King chamber is pretty doable as well with a similar ideology.

    If they implement the HP reduction mentioned then it seems doable but only with a really good group of 18.

    Legion is by far the most fun event in the game but no one does it because of the shit rewards. Hopefully the "new" point items include alex/dynamis coins/heavy metal plates/etc so everyone can participate and not feel screwed over when only one person lots the prized synergy augment items!

    There are little tricks in chambers to make stuff easier. In the zilart kings chamber, dispelling the behemoth spikes so it doesnt meteor helps. Kiting and nuking the turtle with magic bursts when it stops to cast seems to do a ton of damage and can take it down real fast. Jorm goes down real fast from rngs in the air and melee smash it when its on the ground. The ToAU kings chamber, hydra is really slow so you can kite him around while you kill khim and cerb, etc. Just need a diverse but not terrible group set up: holding parties, ranged damage parties, and heavy DD parties etc.
