But that's only 1/10th of all time . . . legion, I assume lasts more than 30sec
He said during a MS zerg. MS lasts a maximum of 60 seconds and Warcry lasts a maximum of 50 seconds. There's no point in using Blood Rage during MS now that it's just crit rate, so Warcry is the right choice.
Unless the whole party is WARs though, I would think Blood Rage would still be the better one to use. Seeing as how Warcry + Savagery only gives 35TP Bonus to other party members, how does that work even with multiple WARs in party? Do they all need to pop to get the full effect? If WAR A uses > WAR B uses, does WAR A now get there's over-written and get screwed down to 35TP Bonus after WAR B uses Warcry, or do they still get the 70TP?
I don't know. I honestly don't even remember where the "other people get a half bonus" testing came from. I've been meaning to replicate it but haven't gotten around to it.
I have no personal means to test it unfortunately, but would be pretty easy to see interactions using 2 WAR/RNG using refulgent arrow.
If I would use Great Axe I would WS with Ukko outside of MS. Assuming you want to compare Bravura to Ragnarok. Ragnarok is much better option. It has stronger WS, stronger DPS, better hidden, +14-15% crit rate. Even if you need to switch some equip for acc to make up for a difference between bravura and Ragnarok then its still doesnt matter. Not really sure why you figured out that what makes Reso so powerful during zerg wont work outside of 2hr. You can use Warcry w/o Mighty Strikes too.
EDIT: Going back to fTP per hit. If you happen to fight in good day its another +0.1 from Mekira (which is anyway best item for this slot for this WS) and that will put you above 1.0 fTP per hit even w/o warcry (and will put you at 1.14 with Warcry which is kinda huge )
Ragnarok has slightly better DPS without the 14% Crit rate boost, or substantially better with it. The double or 2.5x damage is thought to have the same effect on the DPS of each weapon. Ragnarok gets TP slightly slower than Bravura. Right now Bravura and Ragnarok builds can stretch for STP and get 5/6 hits respectively or not stretch and have 6/7 hit builds.
Stretch: 431*5/(488*4) = 10% higher WS rate with Bravura
No Stretch: 431*6/(488*5) = 6% high WS rate with Bravura
Resolution suffers an attack penalty but makes it back up in its 5~10% higher fTP (after belt/gorget/TP Bonus earring and DA/TA/QAs). Bravura has higher base damage than Ragnarok (158 vs. 143), but that is probably accommodated by the STR vs. VIT mods of the WSs.
Overall, it's probably not a stretch to say that Ragnarok is a stronger relic at the moment. Bravura maintains its damage reduction allure, but defense is more about damage negation than mitigation and Metatron substantially weaker than Upheaval or Resolution even with a 99 Bravura. If they had added a second swing to level 99 Metatron (allows DA to proc twice and another hit) we would be having a very different discussion, but they didn't.
Ignoring the Attack penalty and assuming you wear Drachenhorn instead of Mekira +1 on Upheaval:
No Warcry or Mekira +1 : Resolution wins by ~14%
Mekira +1, no Warcry : Resolution wins by ~26%
Warcry, but no Mekira +1 : Resolution wins by ~16%
Warcry with Mekira +1 : Resolution wins by ~27%
How about Ukon?
Not sure how helpful this will be to people but I have always gone SCH/BLM to runs in the past so it's new to me. I went WHM to Hall of Ki and was landing addle np on T1 + T2 cerberus with ToM fire macc staff. I assume most people will have Aegis + Ochain PLDs so it doesn't matter too much, but I think every little bit can help \(*'-')/
How do drops work for this event? Would it be possible to buy looting rights from some LS for gil? How rare are the L. Abj shoes? I just want that without having to do this stupid event.
L.Feet is rare. Two NQs have sold on my server. Also, they're only 8% Movement on the NQ. HQ Hexed costs over 20mil and you can get Cure Potency on Zenith feet, so you're better off buying gaiters.
How do you guys handle Soaring Strigoi? it's been giving us trouble, most of the dmg goes down so much on it for us, WSs don't break 600 dmg w/ x5 songs/4 rolls/full buffs, melee hits don't break double digits and magic is also cut in half or less (BPs doing 750s, WF doesn't breaks 800 dmg). It take us 10mins or so to clear the 1st wave + 2nd wave Dverger/Corse, but the Vampire is just brutal. Someone mentioned it could be the way (the order) that we kill the mobs that might be buffing the Strigoi. Any info/tips would be appreciated.
We do vamp > dverger > corse on the 2nd wave. The vamp seems to get more -dt when you kill other mobs in its wave. When we were trying to find an order to kill mobs, we could barely dent it when it was last, had problems when we killed it second, and it was just a slow mob to kill when we killed it first.
Follow up on that question, since you both that responded ended with a different order at the end (Diomer killing Dvergr and Khiinroye killing Corse last,) did that last mob in wave 2 give any trouble at all? We breezed through the Corse then Dvergr without any real issues (Corse charm on 2 people was only issue.) They mentioned order kill matters as well as other crafty tricks so was wondering what happens to them when they are killed last vs. Vampire's crazy -dt. Hope that makes sense and thanks for any help.
Wave 2 Vampyr gives us the most troubles as well. Our usual kill order is Wave1 -> Vamp -> Corse -> Chair, and then vamp first mob on wave 2, but hes a serious pain, even for superbuffed DDs
