Rat Queens and Deadly Class appeal to me the most.

Caught this on reddit, the internet scheming on casting choices for basically the entire DC universe.

Some pretty cool ones in there, I would totally buy Michael Fassbender as Bruce Wayne or Michael Ironside as Darksied. Whoever was thinking it up was probably in love with Firefly, which is always a good thing.

Damn I love Image. I'll probably check out most of these first issues. Definitely will probably read both of Remender's and Velvet and Sex Criminals.
Southern Bastards sounds awesome too. Latour and Aaron seemed pretty funny together at Heroes.

Satellite Sam comes out today and I'll prob check it out, but something bothers me about Chaykin's art. Lumpy hairy faces probably.

What If? AvX #1 came out today. I think I liked it more than any real AvX story. Jimmy Palmiotti writes really good stories(makes me sad Im behind on All-Star Western) and I liked Jorge Molina's art.

Well, the Superior Foes of Spidey was awesome. I love books with b/c list villians as the main characters. How can you not like a book with Boomerang as the narrator/main character?

I'm really liking Charles Soule as a writer. In his first Thunderbolts issue he puts a stop to Daniel Way's dumb romance subplot. Now the Punisher acts like the Punisher, mostly. Very glad a shitty book with some of my favorite characters is now in capable hands.

Is Phil Noto still doing the art on Tbolts? I like all the characters on that team other than Rulk. That being said, it started off horrible and I dropped it after one issue.

Yes I dropped it after #2. Dillon does this first nonWay issue and Noto does the next then some one else takes over for Soule's first multi issue arc.

Anyone read Batman Inc.? I love how Morrison wrote Batman as a weapon of pinpoint destruction, I'm thinking Talia will die.

I am now a fan of Charles Soule. His Thunderbolts was a great read, I was ready to never look at it again because of Way. The idea that Way created Elektra's brother(which is fucking dumb) to be a villain only to be killed off right away by the next writer tickled me. I just read the latest Swamp Thing by him and found it to be a solid story also. I am very happy to get a new writer who writes good stories.

He has a graphic novel out this year from Archaia called Strange Attractors which is pretty cool too. He was really nice at heroescon and pretty much said that he disliked Way's work on Thunderbolts and was going to change that. Makes me want to actually check out Red Lanterns and see if he's good on that too.

BACK TO THE FUTURE Comic Invests in the Future

by Tony 'G-Man' Guerrero on July 4, 2013

Find out how a story about trying to get Eric Stoltz back as Marty McFly will benefit the future.
It's safe to say that pretty much the entire staff here at Comic Vine loves Back to the Future. While there was a four-issue comic series, it wasn't enough to satisfy my curiosity about how a proper comic book series could be. Now, in a way, we'll get to see that. And by purchasing it, you can even help out a good cause.

If you're familiar with the deep history of the movies, you're likely aware that Eric Stoltz was actually cast as Marty McFly before Michael J. Fox gave life to the role. Stoltz apparently spent about four weeks filming but it was decided he was miscast. That was when it was decided to bring Fox in. To make things harder, Melora Hardin was originally cast as Marty's girlfriend, Jennifer. With Fox on board, it was painfully decided she was too tall for the role. Producer Bob Gale has stated letting her go was one of the hardest things he had to do.

Now a comic miniseries will address trying to actually change the past.

BACK TO BACK TO THE FUTURE is a six-issue series written by David Guy Levy. The story deals with Bob Gale and Melora Hardin accidentally going back in time where they make it that Stoltz doesn't get recast.

You can find out more about this and how exactly this series will benefit the future by checking out this video:

You will be able to check the comic out on July 10, 2013 at GivingBackToTheFuture.com. If you want to find out more about the Young Storytellers Foundation, you can check out their site HERE. If you check out the comic's Facebook page, you can find links to download the first two issues for free.

Yeah saw it posted but it not real. Was someone fantasy building basically for a contest. Supposedly something is coming on Monday whether Spec Ops 11 or Season 2 though is the question. Only news on season 2 so far is sometime in July.

Hopefully it is. You would think they'd want to get it out before they have to go off to Comic-Con and deal with people asking questions constantly about where season 2 is.
