MAA: Spec Op 15 confirmed to be Avengers Arena style as Arcade manages to split the alliance in half forcing you to choose a side just like during Spec Ops 3 AVX. Nico the reward and Arcade as the group boss indicates another lockbox hero. Unclear as to who however. Could be Doom. Could be someone else.

Got to admit I'm finding myself oddly enjoying Doombot in Avengers A.I. About the only thing I enjoy from the title though. And you just gave away one of the titles for the next wave of the New 52. Animal Bat! Or maybe Bat Animal will sell better since it starts with Bat.

MAA: Iceman was the big reveal announced today as the Spec Op 16 reward featuring the debut of another classic X-Men villain. Would have to guess either Sinister or Apocalypse incoming there.

I think it's improved since Rot World. I'm enjoying the Brother Blood arc. I enjoyed the build up to Rot World, but the event itself was kinda meh I thought. That said, Lemire's Green Arrow is better now anyway!
Lemire's doing most of the art for the final Animal Man, which will be pretty cool. It's also cool he's ending the book on his terms (maybe).

Is anyone else reading The Wake? It is a little sloppy story wise, but after reading the latest issue I almost forgive them as I think they just really really wanted to hit this point and then have the story open up. That and I think Sean Murphy is an amazingly talented artist. One of my favorites right now along with Greg Capullo.

Tbh I thought Rot World was pretty awful and read like one or two issues after then kinda gave up on it. If the series is actually getting a logical conclusion/lead in to his next series I'll scoop up the back issues.

Rot World was just too long. No idea why they would start TWO books(including Swamp Thing) with a year long tie-in story. I did like it but they really should have done more short story arcs to really flesh out the rebooted characters and their worlds.

God, Ultimate Comics Spiderman just makes me want a Young Ultimates book lead by Spider Woman with Miles, Bombshell, and Cloak and Dagger

so apparently Zeb Wells is no longer writing that new Elektra book. W. Haden Blackman is instead. Mike Del Mundo still on art. Weird to switch writers before it even comes out.

edit: apparently Wells was too busy being a tv writer
