And I read a thread on CBR over the weekend where Slott went ballistic over someone bitching about Ramos. Personally I've enjoyed his art for the most part, it really fit with the Spider Island storyline, and just goes along with the general playful themes sometimes present while Peter is there.
Also, the big spoiler Slott was warning about was what I mentioned, though nothing about who's writing for Superior or if it's continuing. Might have to wait til April solicits come out soon to know that answer

So, they set up the ground work for Peter to hop back in mostly scott free from all the ridiculous shit Spock has been doing in the eyes of the public by blaming it on the "symbiote." Was kinda hoping they'd actually milk some of that a bit better, but isntead we'll probably end up with the status quo with Peter getting something new to complain about.

Also, during the issue they mention Wolverine doesn't have a healing factor anymore, did this happen in his own comic or is Marvel fucking up their publishing order again?

He lost his healing factor about two months ago in the Wolverine title. He also was removed from the Avengers roster as a result(along with being stretched to thin according to Captain America) in the most recent issue of Avengers. The symbiote excuse won't last though. The only one that actually bought it so far was Mary Jane. The Avengers didn't buy it for a second. I'm sure they will still be plenty of problems for Peter to deal with once he's back in control.

I would assume the setup they're going with is the public will be given the bit about the Symbiote (since Spock was showing it on TV, and the public smashing all of his bots) letting Peter return to his general status quo, whereas obviously the Avengers will be involved in this and figure out what's going on during Goblin War, and we'll probably get the resolution of what happened with Ock's body and he'll end up back in it somehow.

Re: Bub's healing factor, it's been stupid. No idea why they did it but anywho...Some race from the microverse came up into the 616 and started causing issues and Wolverine happened to be in the area. They have the ability to possess humans and had plans to take over the world. Black Fury Jr. and SHIELD get involved to stop this plan. The microverse aliens somehow turned off Bub's healing factor and for some reason it can't be turned back on. Sabretooth learned of this so he and Mystique set up a trap and beat the ever loving shit out of Wolverine. While this happened, SHIELD with the help of some lady who can control viruses, destroyed the microverse aliens. In a last ditch effort, the aliens offered Wolverine to give back his healing factor in exchange for them residing in his body to they aren't killed off. Wolverine said no, they die, and "No more Wolverine" is what Bub says to Storm.

Yeah both the Wolverine titles have been pretty bad in my opinion. And for some nonsensical reason they are cancelling plain Wolverine in order to launch another plain Wolverine title(same with Secret Avengers and Fantastic Four). Slightly unrelated note we are however getting a Nightcrawler ongoing series from Claremont. Also featuring Wolverine however.

Claremont was the fist comic writer I learned to hate back when I was 13 years old. His plots were great but his writing and dialogue are BARF. He over-explains with dialogue from the characters instead of letting the artist draw it and has a bad habit of reintroducing characters to the reader EVERY FUCKING ISSUE. And you can't forget catchphrases that are used to death. 'Mein Gott! Bozhe Moi! Goddess!' Can you guess the characters?!

Don't think I've read a single DC Comic since Forever Evil started, but just saw the new lineup for Justice League when it finishes up.

Anyone check out the new Marvel stuff? New Punisher was meh I thought. I wish Rucka's run was still going on. Black Widow's been decent, but mainly cause of Noto's art. I haven't checked out Loki or Invaders yet. And although I was skeptical.. I gotta say Ms. Marvel was pretty good. Great art and it gives me an Ultimate Spidey-vibe that's hard to resist.
I'm so behind on everything else though.

Im all over the place on reading. I bought punisher and black widow, but haven't read yet. I did read and like Ms Marvel. Did not get invaders or avengers world. No interest in anything else iirc.

I enjoyed the Loki first issue. Be interesting to see where things lead with him. Naturally it guest starred all the Avengers that were in the first movie as well. Result was pretty much what you would expect there for Loki.

The previews for the relaunch of Wolverine and the X-Men look really good art/story-wise. Dunno about the writing yet. New Avengers continues to be my favorite Marvel title. What Hickman is doing with Strange is blowing my mind plus it's like the most development he has had in years. I LOVE INCURSIONS.

The end of this run of WatX has me excited just because I have loved what that book has done with QQ a character I HATED until this book started.

I'm excited about the relaunch of Wolvie and the X-men too. I enjoy Aaron's silliness and glad his buddy Latour is picking it up. His short run on Winter Soldier was great. Looking forward to the image title they're doing together Southern Bastards.
