so i havent read anything but saga in months. is there really a cyclops school? i remember he was recruiting newly powered mutants but i didnt stick around to see how it turned out

He's clearly gone off the deep end. He just dumped the new "students" in an area that his old team with several of the world's strongest mutants under his command barely survived 30 seconds into the first time he arrived and dumped em there for survival training without telling them anything. Cyclops is trying to be the full metal jacket drill instructor without realizing he was a BAD drill instructor that got himself killed from doing such an awful job.

-Uncanny Avengers is just going off in crazy direction and we haven't even come close to Red Onslaught.
-Cataclysm finale was pretty bad. I wish Galactus did eat them all.
-Secret Avengers "finale" was great. I'm looking forward to the soft reboot if it's as good as what we had.

MAA: Lot of news from SXSW today. Falcon is coming as the reward for the next spec ops tying into the Cap movie but surprisingly no Winter Soldier for the LB but a new alt for Cap will also be released. PVP15 will be Rocket Raccoon with a Taskmaster LB reward. The rest of the Guardians are going to be introduced slowly leading up to the movie with another being a PVP reward(probably Drax) and Star-Lord most likely being the spec op reward in July or August(Gamora potentially the LB if they include a group boss). Spec Op 18 will have another group boss but no further details were offered. Level 14 is coming in with chapter 4 sometime next week with the Captain Marvel alt for Ms. Marvel as the chapter reward. New ISO also being released that can be slotted directly to hero moves to change the skill up somewhat whcih is also being released as part of chapter 4. Scarlet Witch also has a new alt coming which they showed the artwork for. And the remainder of the Warriors Three will be released with Fandral being a store purchase and Volstagg receiving his very own Covert Ops which probably involves the acquisition of a lot of food and drink.

Marvel is probably going to be getting from the Mass Effect extra look in the next few months to make it easier for new readers to digest when the movie comes out.

If you have not had the chance, I highly recommend Nemo: Heart of Ice and Nemo: The Roses of Berlin by Alan Moore and Kevin O'Niell. Set in the LofEG timeline, both stories about Nemo's daughter. Some of the best sci-fi I have ever seen, simply breath-taking and amazing.

Apparently this new MOBA with DC characters came out called Infinite Crisis. I haven't played it, but the with success of LoL and DOTA2, I'm not surprised.

MAA: I'm sure we can all agree pvp tournaments have been a massive pain in the ass. So PD just posted their upcoming changes in the format. https://www.playdomforums.com/showth...ements-for-MAA

Some nice changes in there including level capped tournaments and a limit being placed on the number of defensive fights. Was losing 40-50 points today for every fight I won at times. And they also announced that with the pd site closing the game that those that played there can file a ticket and their purchased gold, and all recruited heroes will be transferred over to a FB account but the heroes would start over at lvl 1.

Oh and Drax for PVP 16 the one after Rocket and Taskmaster.

Hm, I'm most excited about fights going faster. With Kabeasts everywhere, half the fight was waiting for debuffs to apply. I only finished in Diamond today.

Lucky you I got silver. I hit lvl 273 a few days ago and from that moment on I was slammed by lvl 300 challengers. Rating plummeted from 1300 down to a final of 888.

I dunno if anyone has seen the news on the next MAA game being made by Playdom. I saw it started to be mentioned about a week ago. It's called MAA Tactics and has some similarities to MAA like recruiting heroes and classes(blaster,tactician,etc). Appears you have to build a base, train heroes & SHIELD agents and go on missions. Battle is a bit different: Turn based but it's in a 3/4 view. Just a few vids so far.

Interesting thing in UA. Havok's daughter had Dumbo stuffed animals, first time I saw a Disney reference in a Marvel comic since they were purchased. And the last page was effing awesome.

Peter is officially back now too with only one issue left for Superior. Kind of surprised how things went with Otto. And in related news, new Spider-Man 2099 series launching in July from Peter David.

Oh and New Avengers was it just me or was that alternate reality team highly similar to various DC guys? Norn(Dr. Fate), Jovian(Martian Manhunter), Dr. Spectrum(GL), Unbound(Flash), Sun God(Superman), Rider(Batman, guy is even named Wayne and is upset about mothers and fathers dying).
