Was Jason Aaron's idea for the series to focus on the Wolverine and the X-Men teaching staff actually going out being X-Men. He then left the series after bringing Nightcrawler back so who knows where it goes now.

Well Chris Yost will be writing the next storyline (World War Wendigo) and if that flops then I'm out.

X-Men get caught up in a war between Heaven and Hell, and also a war between Kurt and his father. Apparently Kurt sent the bamf's to the school originally to come help in the war when it was needed.

Yeah if that flops also they need to can it and give me my GenX reunion. And I've been finding myself actually enjoying the Nightcrawler solo series so far. Only two issues in but it's been fun if you're a fan of the character.

But yeah I was hoping they would do something with Chamber and Husk after Schism because they both went to Wolverine's school. I would have loved to learn the reason why Chamber did was to follow Paige.

The jerks keep teasing they are going to do something with GenX but aside from M and Jubilee in X-Men there has been nothing.

And speaking of Jason Aaron again I really did not see the Original Sin 2 end coming there.

The cover to "All-New X-Men #32," a homage to John Byrne's cover for "Uncanny X-Men #139," features a statement that's become synonymous with characters joining the X-Men: "Welcome to the X-Men Miles Morales. Hope you survive the experience!"

Bendis writes both titles and co-created Miles Morales, the Ultimate Universe's Spider-Man, who took over after Peter Parker died. A "616" version of Morales has been revealed to exist in the regular Marvel universe as well, so time will tell which version of the character will show up in "All-New X-Men." The costume seems to indicate it's the Ultimate version.

How great were Avengers and Uncanny Avengers? Thanos Annual was..interesting but come on Lim! Guy has not improved one bit in 20 years.

Seems like they setting Thanos up for another turn as a hero before he becomes a big bad villain again later on.

I could see some rehash of Thanos Imperative when Hickman's run comes to a head next year with the Illuminati using him to stop an incursion.

I bought the first trade of Umbral. I literally knew nothing about it, total whim. Really digging the story though. If you like fantasy with kingdoms, magic, and demons, I would recommend it.

I knew I'd dig Umbral just based on the fact the first issue had a bad ass fantasy world map in it. I'm behind on issues but I just bought the trade to catch up.
If you like that check out Sovereign (Image as well) for another new fantasy comic.

Side note: I love cheapgraphicnovels.com. I bought sex crims v1, umbral v1, manhattan projects v4, black science v1, and mind mgmt v3 for $45 including shipping.

So rumors are floating about that Marvel is about to put both Fantastic Four and Ultimate FF on an indefinite hiatus due to FOX holding the movie rights still. The characters will still be around and likely all moved onto the various Avengers books but the team title which has not been a big seller for them for a while now will be gone. Personally I haven't found the title all that enjoyable since Hickman left anyway but would still be surprised if they actually did this as it has been a cornerstone title for years.

Comic sales and movie sales are totally unrelated. If that is the reason, Marvel is silly. I haven't read James Robinson's run on Fantastic Four at all. I liked Fraction on FF, but Fantastic Four wasn't good.

Problem with comics in general, and DC/Marvel in particular, is that there is so much high quality stuff right now, people won't buy average books.
