I read the first issue of the latest run and gave up instantly. Hickman just raised the bar unobtainably high. Having said that, I don't mind Marvel shutting down FF but I have no idea how this would affect the movie profits in any way.

Fraction's run started off cool (the idea was pretty good) but just never really got going. Like just said, read first issue of current one and dumped it. Hickman's run was just TOO good, the same thing is going on with X-Force and what Remender did for that series. Though granted those runs are just not that good (Cable and X-Force was decent, but Uncanny and the current series are awful).

Liefeld is/was a comic book holocaust. Whenever he comes up I think of that South Park episode where people had assholes for faces because that was his style too.

Plus there was a Marvel Legends line of just X-men just released. I know it wasn't stamped with the movie logo, but DERP.

If Marvel cancels Fantastic Four it will be because they are out of date. (To be fair, I am enjoying what Robinson is doing and I've never been into Fantastic Four)

The only time I've enjoyed the FF was when Hickman wrote them, that run ranks as one of my favourites in recent memory alongside Whedon's Astonishing X-men and Geoff Johns' Green Lantern.

In usual Remender fashion, everything is fucked! But, it makes sense in a way for Cap to be reduced to an old man since that's essentially what he is.

I'm excited to see what happens next.

As for Original Sins...say whaaaa? at the ending of #3. No idea what's going to happen, this event is just nuts.

Guessing one of the two was a fake. I can see them killing off Nick Fury Sr. since they brought Jr. in though I just can't imagine Bucky going in there and all chopping off his head.

Some more info about AXIS came out. Will be broken up into 3 parts each totaling 3 issues, involve Genosha and the Inhumans, and the original image with Green Goblin has been recolored to Hobgoblin because Remender apparently can't use Greeny because he'll be too involved in whatever's happening in ASM at the time. In addition to the villians from the teaser image, Jack O'Lantern, Enchantress, and Absorbing Man will also be part of the series.

Art is gonna be handled by Adam Kubert, Leinil Yu (HELL YES), Terry Dodson, and Jim Cheung
