THIS ONE'S FOR YOU MORPH
LOL
So what, is Marvel just going to rehash old stories now?
By the way, I'm not sure if anyone noticed in the last Spider-Man 2099, but apparently the 2099 in 616 is not the 2099 that joined the Exiles.
Picked up the Infinity graphic novel today, it's way better then I would have expected. It's not separated by individual issues but cuts back and forth between the comics that were out at the same time to tell the story. Doesn't even puts breaks with cover shots in between, just one continuous story for 600+ pages.
Grant Morrison Vertigo Sale on Comixology
So all those adverts Marvel has spitting out for Summer 2015 is now preceded by this one
Spoiler: show
I'm assuming full on reboot, and all these teasers are flashbacks so they can retcon everything.
I dont feel it is a reboot. Marvel continuity isnt a trainwreck the way DC is/was.
of course, DC is doing Convergence which may make things even more screwy.
Everything Ends is likely the conclusion of the current Avengers/New Avengers storyline before going into secret Wars
The reboot speculation for Marvel keeps popping up but thy have no reason to reboot.
Found the reference from the time skip in Hickman's New Avengers/Avengers (current "In X Months Time Runs Out"):
"This September, however, there will be no fighting the future as writer Jonathan Hickman's "Avengers" and "New Avengers" titles jump eight months ahead and give readers a definitive glimpse of what the Marvel Universe will look like in April 2015 for a storyline titled "Time Runs Out.""

Sounds pretty much to me that April 2015 and Spring 2015 along with "Everything Ends" and "Time Runs Out" that these are clearly related.
God I feel like Remender is simply setting up a huge fight between Apocalypse and Red Skull with Axis.
Spider-Ham, that is all.

I was catching myself up on the last few months of Bendis X-Men on my phone at work, does this man knows the difference between telepathy and telekinesis?
He fucks up alot of people's power levels for the sake of his stories but giving people new powers with no explanation is impressive even for him.
Cover of Secret Wars # 1 was revealed
Spoiler: show
If my guess is right but that's an old "form" Jean Grey has had since the 90's and no Bendis probably doesn't realize that nor understand the difference between TK and TP.
You should try reading the original stories that Bendis is blatantly copying and rehashing in 20x the pages.
The thing with Bendis is I find he works best when you don't have any prior knowledge to realize how stupid everything being written is in the context of the characters he's using.
Eg Dazzler.
You've seen that issue where he has her set off a giant flash/bang explosion to defend herself that Bendis wrote?
There are several things wrong with that scenario.
First and foremost is that she has FORCE FIELDS
Second is that she's currently immortal and keeps coming back from the dead like highlander so while bullets hurt that's some disproportionate retribution with massive collateral damage as she probably made at least a block of people permanently blind/deaf.
3)she can make holograms so she didn't even need to let herself be targeted
4) Physics. Bullets are faster than sound. Her power is based on sound. The sound supposedly powering her up for what she was doing should be lagging physically BEHIND the bullet.
Except for number 4 everything in that panel seems fine if you don't know wtf her powers have done before. Once you do realize that you realize she's acting like a damned idiot.
For the telekinesis I mean how Xavier II is able to stop bullets in one scene, and another where the Cuckoos use TK on Iceman and the other characters in the scene assume that Emma Frost was responsible for it.
Those characters do actually have VERY minor TK
Xavier the first back in the 60's/70's occasionally had TK blasts he could destroy walls with but using it prettymuch leaves him in a healing coma from exhaustion. This is ultra obscure trivia.
It's somewhat reasonable that Xavier II could do the same if he's just a carbon copy of his dad but at the same time his dad never could have done that without turning the person holding said gun into mush.
Emma has ultra shit TK (which is why she never uses it. I cannot stress how weak it is.) Cuckoos have never been seen using it until what you just mentioned.
Marvel mutant psychics tend to have both of those powers but in varying ratios and powerlevels.
I seriously doubt Bendis actually knew they had those though given that he's been too lazy to research his own former writing in a series he's currently writing.
Shit. The latest Guardians shows him as too lazy to research the previous panel of his own book.
