As soon as I saw Romita's art I blanked this out of my mind.

He's still OK on some stuff but the Romita art style just doesn't hold up as well as it used to imo

I agree. Every time he drew young Steve Rogers when he was on Captain America all I could see was Kick Ass

The theory is that it's the Galactus Seed. Galactus and Reed have a bit of a conversation about it in that issue and Galactus tells Reed it's buried within the World Tree by Thor and company and will be causing some issues as it awakens including destroying the current universe to bring on the next essentially. Bit more to it I can't recall off the top of my head.

For all we know he does know. Besides Alal there's also been the Ivory Kings and Mapmakers to deal with, along with Shield and the Cabal in the 616.

And now 1610 Reed AND New Avengers this next week should be covering what happened to the Captain Britain Corps.

Garth Ennis SECRET WARS Limited Series Announced

With Battleworld and Secret Wars on the way, the Marvel Universe is going to undergo a huge change. Several new titles have been announced and now it looks like the House of Ideas has Garth Ennis and Russ Braun working on a limited series called WHERE MONSTERS DWELL. According to Vulture, the five-issue series has a simple yet fun premise: "World War I–era fighter planes shooting dinosaurs."

The limited series will feature Karl Kaufmann, a.k.a. Phantom Eagle. Ennis says this story gives him the opportunity to write something "a little bit lighter" than much of his recent work. There's no comment yet on how this will tie into Secret Wars and the first issue goes on sale May 27. Viners, is this something you'd want to check out?

Yeah and MODOK is getting his own limited series as well set in the Killville section of Battleworld by Chris Yost and Amilcar Pinna. They've updated the Battleworld map with some more information including new regions for the Infinity Gauntlet, Captain Marvel(Carol), One More Day, 2099, Old Man Logan.

I was about to rant, but only because I think a page may be missing...

The page missing would be the only justification for having Xavier in the present at the end of last issue and beginning of this one... I mean we got from Xavier asking "where is this Jean Gray school" to in the past with Eva changing history... I think there may have been a page where the kids arrive at JGS to see Storm killed by the uncontrollable mutant and Xavier says "Eva take me back" and that leads into changing history... Otherwise Xavier in present is only for shock factor.

Outside of this Eva Bell is a fucking amazing character

I agree with pretty much all of that. I was also just disappointed to see this story that was actually pretty bad ass with some serious shit happening basically get dream sequenced. Total cop out.

Also yes Saga is fucking awesome.
