Comic Book Thread: Combined for greatness

Sales are not even accurate anymore. Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, etc. don't sell well in shops. Digitally they blow a lot of other titles out of the water. This goes along with my point that there are more diverse audiences for comic book readers, including people who may want to read comics, but don't feel comfortable going into a comic book store.

Ms. Marvel sells consistently above 30k, and has been in the top 100 every month since it appeared, so it seems unfair to lump that in with Captain Marvel which sells sub 20k in shops. I have heard Captain Marvel sells ok digitally, but until they begin to give substantive numbers around those sales, it doesn't mean much since the average digital title is only 10-20% of print sales.

Ms Marvel being the outlier there because Marvel has confirmed that digital actually outsells the print comic, which again is a stable seller already.

Ok so the two manhattans have combined and includes all the heroes from both universes existing in Battleworld.... However, everyone seems to have retained their memories (at least to some extent)... which does not seem to comport with what we saw for Battleworld as a whole in Secret Wars 2...

Ultimate End is a Battleworld story, it does not take place before the final incursion. Having said that, it was fucking retarded Bendis crap. I was SOOOO hoping for it to be about the 1610 dying.

So X-Men '92 is out digitally, was fun getting to see the cartoon version of these characters again. I pretty crazy reveal (theoretically) on the final page and the Secret Wars setup for it is pretty cool I think:

So about that Convergence ending. Anybody bother to read the entire series? I was okay with the main book from it as it was basically a continuation of the Earth 2 Worlds End title.

But for the end the Crisis of Infinite Earths was undone reestablishing the massive multiverse of DC. All future DC titles can be taking place in any number of different multiverses now as opposed to just Earth 1/2. And Telos becomes the new Earth 2 apparently after Brainiac finishes the job of saving the multiverse.

I stopped reading after an issue or two of the main series. I think I only read 2 tie-ins too.

Next week, Nonplayer Issue 2 finally comes out, and Issue 1 was recently re-released.
I just had a look at it and, uh, seriously, I think anyone on BG would like this.

Read all the convergence main titles and tie-ins. I enjoyed the main titled books pretty well, but I also read all the World's End books and Earth 2 before that as well. So I had some attachment/gave a shit a little at least about those characters. About the "reset"...well, we all kinda expected that to be the outcome of this since the New 52 has gone over like poo poo.

Some of the tie in books were good...some were terribad...most were pretty meh. I felt like I could have just bought the main titles and missed almost nothing.

I'd agree completely with that and it has sadly become the standard for DC crossovers especially
