I love that Secret Wars is shaping up to be Reed vs Doom, which feels so right for everything Hickman has been doing since he started Fantastic Four.

Holy shit...I honestly thought they brought Cyc through to be the Dues Ex Machina...so glad it doesn't look to be the case. My bets are all on Franklin now after that quote about him being there at the heat death of everything waiting for the world he remade to form.

Yeah rereading Hickman's Fantastic Four run now with the perspective of current events, Franklin knew this was happening and was putting the pieces into place for it (like making Black Bolt go back to Earth).

It is one of the best stories out there. Hickman plants so many seeds and brings them all to fruition. Plus it's one of the most loving stories, focusing on Reed and his love for his family.

It is well worth the read. The avengers/new avengers runs leading up to this event are great also.
