I haven't been impressed with AvX. Saw the story coming years ago as it was heavily hinted at since Messiah Complex. Sorta sad it is so cliche.

I'm just tired of the Phoenix force. Only thing that could redeem this creative backwash is Cyclops going after Hope as his consort. Shit would be hilarious.
i find avx to be fucking awful. no offense
Hahahaha @ the end of #5. WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY DOING LOL. Is the writer smoking crack?
Not gonna lie... enjoying Red Lanterns
DC Comics announces #0s in September
Supposidly, they will be cancelling 4 titles as well. Justice League International seems like one. Voodoo, Grifter, Blue Beetle, Resurrection Man, and Fury of Firestorm are all quite low selling as well.TALON - Writer James Tynion IV with co-plotter Scott Snyder. Artist: Guillem March.
Meet Calvin Rose, the only Talon to ever escape the grasp of the Court of Owls. This former assassin of the Court is trying to live a normal life ... but that’s impossible when he’s being hunted by his former masters!
SWORD OF SORCERY – Writer: Christy Marx. Artist: Aaron Lopresti.
Featuring the return of Amethyst, Amy Winston leads a strange life on the road with her mother and resents it. She’s about to learn it’s all been necessary when she discovers she’s the lost princess of Gemworld—and she’s being hunted by her murderous aunt. With a back-up story written by Tony Bedard with art by Jesus Saiz, set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, the monstrous warrior Beowulf is charged with finding and defeating the evil Grendel.
THE PHANTOM STRANGER - Writer: Dan DiDio. Artist: Brent Anderson.
Spinning out of his recent appearances in JUSTICE LEAGUE and DC’s Free Comic Book Day story, learn more about the true origin of The Phantom Stranger and his connection to the mysterious Pandora.
TEAM SEVEN - Writer: Justin Jordan. Artist: Jesus Merino.
Set in the early days of DC COMICS-THE NEW 52, threads of the entire DC Universe collide. As Superman emerges, so does the world’s counter measures against him and his kind. Team 7 is comprised of Dinah Lance, Amanda Waller, Steve Trevor, John Lynch, Alex Fairchild, Cole Cash, Slade Wilson — and their story will change everything you know about DC COMICS-THE NEW 52.
Voodoo has been shit since they kicked off Ron Marz too.
Team 7 sounds like it could be used to re-introduce Gen 13... at least with Fairchild and Lynch and hell even Grifter. But the others make it odd. I kind of wish they would give fans some service by just getting Gen 13 all together and letting them be a team in the DCU...
they are introducing team 7 as a countermeasure against superman? what in the fudge is going on over there
None are interesting to me, though that may change as more info comes out. Talon seems like a story that's been told 100000 times, Amethyst I never read before, Phantom Stranger was interesting till I saw Didio was writing, Team 7 is ehhh
oh god the court of owls is gonna become a thing now? oh lordy
More on the #0s from the Washington Post
so a year after they relaunch all their titles to make them more reader friendly, they are releasing issues to clarify origins and shit /facepalmPHILADELPHIA — DC Comics’ heroes are going to zeroes.
In September, DC Entertainment will publish a zero issue for its 52 titles, a move that co-publishers Jim Lee and Dan DiDio said this week will help explain the origins and effects of its rebooted characters a year after it erased decades of history and continuity to start everything from scratch.
But, the duo said, zeroing out for the month will create new plots and wrinkles for the likes of Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman, among others, and see the debut of some fan-favorite characters as well as set the stage for more ongoing stories in the months to come too.
I'm pretty sure Batman and Green Lantern didn't reboot. Actually, I think its the same Barry Allen too. They seem to both know about the note from Bruce's father from Flashpoint. Think it was in JL #7. Which could make things even more convoluted if they explain it further.
