Secret Wars was great. So Doom killed the Beyonders with a shit-ton of Molecule Mans. I wish this series was 24 issues so Hickman could really tell everything, like the different stories of the separated survivors that were given one panel. Thanos over the wall deserves 4 issues alone.

Some of it is being told in their own books. For instance, Starlord got thrown into Starlord and Kitty Pryde, Miles got thrown to Ultimate End, not sure if there are others.

He makes a good point about the Phoenix force, Hickman doesn't do anything without reason and letting Cyclops bring the Phoenix force to battleworld means it could play a huge role in Secret Wars. He goes on in his weekly Q&A to postulate that Franklin Richards may take control of the Phoenix force to battle Doom.
