**Kaslo** · 2015-11-11 18:57

So Secret Wars was mainly filler. I assume this part is what Hickman intended to be in a different issue.

And Uncanny Avengers:

Spoiler: show

I wouldnt call it filler though. I found the issue to be exciting, epic. Maximus was hilarious, then Sinister switches sides, then the Thor Corps come into play, then Apocalypse joins the fun and out of nowhere BOOM, hellicarrier full of Hulks. Not to mention T'Challa gathering his army of the dead.

Stegman is insulting my eyeballs on Uncanny Avengers.

Secret Wars # 7 was effectively only half of the story. The script ended up too long and it was split between 7 & 8, which is why an extra issue was added.

Which was effectively what I meant. It's something that wasn't really enough to justify its own issue.

"It's me, you idiots! Maximus!" Hickman writes him so great, he is a chaotic asshole.
