I love Prophet. It's such a trippy SciFi mindfuck. I wish someone would make an in-depth wiki for it. Other non superheroes I'd recommend would be Manhattan Projects for a lot of fun super science revisionist history action, Fatale for a horror crime noir, and Rachel Rising is a cool black and white undead horror story. There's tons of great indies out now doing great stuff. I could list tons of books. Even Godzilla has a great miniseries out by Stokoe and IDW.

Speaking of Stokoe, check out Orc Stain. Fun story and great art. I hope Stokoe continues the story.

Orc Stain is really cool. I love his art style. Honestly, at first I was kinda doubtful about Godzilla: The Half Century War cause it was taking him further away from Orc Stain but I read the 4 out of 5 issues that are out and was like.. "Well that was worth no Orc Stain." I decided to check it out after it made some end of year top lists cause a Godzilla comic isn't really on my radar.

Anything Vertigo can fill the non-superhero bill pretty well, and being a DC imprint they're pretty easy to pick up.

Preacher and Y The Last Man are probably my 2 favorite comic series of all time, and Hellblazer has had some really good shit over the years. And as mentioned, Fables is freaking awesome.

Saga is a little weird for me, but the art is gorgeous and the universe Vaughn created is really cool. I was lucky enough to find the first trade at Midtown Comics signed by Vaughn and Fiona Staples, and it was still only $9.99. I'd definitely recommend the series to anyone who isn't going to be put off by bad language or sexual content.

Spec Ops 6 is live, Havok being the reward
You can also get magnetic lockboxes from Spec Ops 6. Obtaining 1 gets your a comic book cover. If you collect 8 different ones, you unlock Magneto. You can also buy lockboxes for 1 gold, but there is a 7% chance of a comic book cover in those, instead of the 100% from Spec Ops drop.

I like how the 2nd task in spec ops is to get a distress call(not really). Gotta wait until tomorrow to continue. I read on the forums you can get duplicates of the Magneto covers so good luck on getting all 8.

I guess it will just give me incentive to actually play the spec op a bit longer than I normally do. I'm usually able to get through them pretty quickly and then don't touch them again so that by the end of the spec op period I have over a thousand untouched ISO.

Gave Fables a go as well as Y the last man, read the first 5 issues of each. Y was pretty awesome, didnt much care for fables.

It looks like there are 6 extra tasks that award Magnetic Lockboxes. I dunno how to get them, prolly will be found out tomorrow.

There is some big task in mission 2 that I think is treated as an epic battle that involves them. Don't have the full details though as I stopped doing anything until tomorrow when I can pick up the distress call for task 2.

So to unlock everything (epics included) you need Nightcrawler, Phoenix, Tigra, Deadpool, and Beast. F. . .M. . .L. . . (as a newer player that blows)

Again, playdom does that on purpose so people buy gold.

Ok, I'll stick with it, the first set of stories was very slow and not very good imo.
