Yeah.. I was looking at solicitations and I think W+tXM was the only tie-in I saw, which sucks cause W+txm is awesome when it's free from that shit. With Bendis having this story up his sleeve for so long I wonder if it was something they were gonna put in his Avengers run or as a mini and just decided to make it the event when Marvel NOW moved everyone around.

I am kinda excited to read it, mainly because of Bryan Hitch on art. But so help me Galactus if Bendis turns it into another opportunity to waste page space with Luke Cage and his family drama bullshit.

Fraction's Iron Man run was overall enjoyable imo. World's Most Wanted/Stark Disassembled were both great, but the Fear Itself crossovers and final storyline were both pretty bad.

Bravo to Marvel on that series though for keeping Fraction/Larroca together for the entire run, getting continuity like that through 56 issues is pretty impressive by today's standards. The current series is definitely getting assraped by Greg Land.

Fraction's Iron Man was good. It moved slowly but it fleshed Tony out more and I loved the way Larroca drew him (modeled him after the actor Josh Holloway.)
Greg Land is awful.. I wish Gillen wasn't stuck with him all the time as I have hope his Iron Man run will get better.

I knew Larroca used image references but didn't realize it was Holloway until you said that. Going to Google image search I can see soooooooooooo many specific frames of Tony from the run in those pictures.

That was my thought also but Bendis has said everything that happens in AoU is in the prime Marvel universe which does seem odd as things are apparently just going to come out of nowhere since there hasn't been any build to it at all that I've noticed.

5/8 w/3 dupes so far. I figured I need to average 9 CP a day to be able to get DP/Beast/Tigra. I see a lot of 4.4 in my future.

Well luckily that should happen statistically. Doing only 4.4 you get 3/7ths of a CP per hour. Say you miss 3 hours of energy a day, that would be 9 cp a day.

this is wrong. it takes place in the MU and is 100% in continuity. Bendis said so.

I've been lucky so far and I've only gotten 1 dupe out of 6 tries so far. Still waiting on stupid 2 day research to end before I go off and do more spec ops work. Just finishing up the chapter 10 premium mission until then. I've got a bunch of characters to train up now too on top of that.

I have 3 havok missions left, then to 4 star all the missions... hopefully I'm more lucky on the boxes I get in that time. I'm tempted to wait until I bet a big stockpile of boxes and run through them all at once.
