About time honestly, GL had been my favorite Superhero comic up until the New 52 reboot, but it's been barely readable since then imo.

Oh wow, just saw that the whole Johns leaving GL is actually every single writer for the various Green Lantern books going bye bye (GL, GL Corp, New Guardians, and Red Lanterns).

Seeing you mention Batman #17 made me go look up. Marvel could take lessons on how to completely blow it on big storylines, cause that definitely outclasses the stupid shit they pulled with their uber-letdowns on big events over the last few years.

Finally, the solicitations for May are up from DC, The Wake series starts on may 1st, looking forward to that. I haven't heard of the book Prometha, can anyone shed light on to whether it is good or bad?

Promethea was done years back by Alan Moore and J.H. Williams III. It is not part of the DC Universe. Overall it's a good read but some of the stuff on magic can be a little over people's heads.

The Animal Man omnibus with all 26 issues of Morrison's run is interesting. List price $75 is a lot, but I'm sure Amazon will have it for cheaper.

A truly great run. Morrison innovated at the end with breaking the 4th wall in a way I don't think had been done before. Although he used Animal Man as a platform for animal rights, I don't think it came off as preachy. And it had a happy ending!

Amazon or Barnes and Noble, I have been doing alot of shopping with Barnes latley and they have been beating amazon prices.

I'm not even a huge Morrison fan, but I've enjoyed what I've read of his run. I've heard nothing but good things about it.

So I unlocked Havok this morning and I've been happy with him since you have to use him for all the boss battles. But I am not feeling good about acquiring Magneto, eff magnetic lockboxes.

I don't think I'm gonna be able to get him either. 6/8, but gotten SO many duplicates.
