Got my Pym already. Got lucky on the roulette early on and nabbed the 1k iso reward. Just decided to change up my PVP team for a bit now. Using the new Nightcrawler and Captain Britain. They are deadly. Gotten CB to hit as high as 160k on one agent only for the agent to survive thanks to Hoarfrost Mace.

The mace wouldn't be bad if it worked properly. It's only supposed to protect against one death but I've seen it protect against four or five simply because the buff didn't trigger after he was killed the first time.

So, I had a quick question. Does Phoenix force/Dark phoenix have any other emotions besides insanity or apathetic calm? Feel like it's really guarded/sensitive but I just wanna make sure.

My friend is a body painter and he's doing some marvel characters. I'm doing phoenix and I wanna make sure I get it's emotions right. Most of his other pieces the models could just stand there and the art would carry it, but with Phoenix, I feel like I gotta be in character with body language/facial expressions.

To me, Phoenix seems like just an agent of chaos. When it inhabits/possesses a being, they become god-like and mostly in control of their faculties, able to do incredible things. But shortly after, the power of the Phoenix is so strong, that it simply destroys the psyche of that host, turning them evil and chaotic. In the recent event, X-Men vs Avengers, the mutants imbued with the Phoenix did great things at first, like ending war and feeding the world. After a time, their worst traits came to the fore and they started to take each other out one by one to get more of the Phoenix essence. It then lead to the death of Professor X and almost the world but at the same time, it resurrected the mutant genome, no longer making them an endangered species. The Phoenix destroys worlds and saves worlds.

Still eternally confused as to why Starlord is blonde now. And after the .1 and the preview of #1 I was already disappointed, Bendis seems to have completely missed the mark on characterization, which was what made the team so interesting while DnA were in charge.

Now I am convinced Age of Ultron was written long before Marvel Now started. The heroes presented do not truly reflect what is going on currently, if the uniforms do look like today's, it's only because they were edited after the fact. Biggest give away is there is no Spider-Ock. #3 had way too much filler as Bendis tends to do.

Uncanny Avengers is getting good. I love how Remender presents the legacy of Apocalypse. It is so thoroughly destructive and powerful. I am hoping the culmination of this years long story will be the return of Apocalypse.

God Uncanny A was sooooo good. Havok was presented perfectly after his confrontation with Cap. He's always been so reluctant to take leadership because of living in Scott's shadow, and this was the perfect presentation of that evolution of leadership, along the way Mutant X was too. Plus Apocalypse. Fuck Remender, you got skills at pulling so much stuff together. Just props.
