East of West was Hickman at full force and Dragotta's art was incredible. Wish I could immediately read more and more and that there was a TV show of it.
Fatala #13 was another great one shot from Brubaker. This time in a western setting. Dude keeps on giving more and more hints about what's really going on without really telling us anything.
AoU #3 was fine. I'm confused how it's clearly Peter in the storyline but there's a Superior Spider-man tie in and it's not Peter?
GotG #1 was ok. Everyone fighting outside in space seemed a little extra ridiculous to me.

Was obviously all written awhile ago, and they're just throwing it out there now, continuity be damned. The SSM issues isn't written by Slott (think it was Gage).

Also, Telltale Games announced a Fables game awhile ago, but gave no details. Officially announced it to be starring Bigby and be a prequel to the comics.

And having read GotG #1 now, I am supremely disappoint. My fear is that these are the characterizations we'll get for the movie instead of the Geffen/DnA versions.

Just read East of West. A lot of shit happening in the issue. I love Dragotta's art but the story hasn't hooked me yet. Also read the Fantastic Four AoU tie-in, it was retarded. The FF fight legions of bad guys ALL THE TIME but some Ultron drones kill Reed & Johnny off the bat?

I was ok with GotG story for the most part, I sincerely doubt it can top DnA's run on Marvel cosmic. That being said, the costumes are so fucking hideous that every page I was like "what the fuck is wrong with X". Star-Lord's costume looks like Black Lightning, why does Groot have pointy teeth?, Gamora has never needed a space suit before so why now(I get the we cant have her wearing a Vampirella rip-off anymore but still). And so far the addition of Iron Man has been "lol Iron Man sucks, we gotta save him." /facepalm

Since going off conversation between Starlord and his dad, the Thanos Imperative did happen. So I'm really wondering how it's going to explained that Starlord is in the 616 again (and now blonde and royalty), Drax is alive, and where the fuck Richard Ryder is.

Pretty much this. I only read Miles now. Ultimates is awful, but I really like Fialkov so I might check it out when he takes it over. I 95% of the time really love Brian Wood's stuff but can't get into Ult. X-Men no matter what. I'm psyched for his adjectiveless X-men book though.

It's disappointing to hear that Ultimates went downhill. I picked up the first volume of Hickman's run and loved it, but I guess I'll just call it quits after volume 2 now.

Sam Humphries, who took over after Hickman, is a lackluster writer. He also took over Uncanny X-Force after Remender(which has been TERRIBLE). Poor guy, not only is he bad but he has to follow these amazing writers.

I think he got hyped up a lot for his image one shot Our Love Is Real, which is overrated and strange but mildly interesting. It's about a future where people either fuck animals, vegetables or minerals. But, yeah his Marvel stuff has yet to impress. Cullen Bunn falls into the same category for me. His Marvel stuff is average-to-bad but his Oni stuff is pretty good. Helheim was dope!
