He sold a lot of his stuff at NYCC. Nice guy, signed my dark angel saga #1 issues(think that's UFX 10?) and my uncanny avengers #1 as he was packing up. He also coyly smiled when I asked if the Skinless Man using Fantomexs dead body as a puppet was just a way to mess when fans.

I read all of Punk Rock Jesus last night. It was awesome even if it's predictable in places the story is so interesting it doesn't matter.
About a reality show based around a clone of Jesus and all the awful things that ensue. I had heard great things about it but I'm glad I waited for the trade so I could just read it all in one shot. If you dislike religion and enjoy cynicism I highly recommend it!

Punk Rock Jesus started off really interesting but fell apart at the end. What frustrated me the most were the things that were set up and then later abandoned.

Weird, I didn't have any issues with the ending except it did feel a little rushed. What things do you think he left hanging?
Wonder if reading it all in one go or being up til 4am finishing it effected my reading.

I'm psyched for him (Sean Murphy) and Scott Snyder's vertigo series to start up.

The very fact that there were twins only to rarely even bring the sister if at all into the story. The hints of actual divine abilities that were just never talked about again. When the twins' mother's attempted suicide only to be saved by an actual angel! Then the angel tells the mother she has an important role and that was just entirely abandoned. To me it made the ending feel empty and unresolved.

I thought the sister was just the Dr.'s proof that the whole thing was a farce, but she was the predictable part I was talking about. I did think the algae she was working on would figure into the story maybe but never did since the doctor saw a lot of fucked up shit and never really did anything about it. The divine abilities were just obvious manipulations by Slate and when Chris starts speaking his mind it makes that pretty clear. The angel thing with the mom was definitely strange. I thought it might have been manipulation from that NAC group, but who knows!

As far as meeting Remender. Beg him to get on marvel about doing a Fantomex limited or ongoing!

I got X-23, I need to level her up to see if I like her or not. Omega Sentinel is fucking awesome though.

X-23's lvl 6 ability is too cool. Level 9 ability looks cool but I rarely use it.

I love X-23's lvl 2 ability too. I'm currently testing X-23 and Tigra in PVP. Bleed all the people!
