Anyone get anything cool for free comic book day? I picked up X-Men #50(first time we hear Polaris is Magnetos daughter), uncanny x-men #130(first Dazzler). Friend of mine found a copy for Uncanny X-men #129(first Kitty and Emma Frost). Now I'm just chilling a bit before going to get some Spidey books signed by Dan Slott.

got my ASM #700 and SSM #1 signed by Dan Slott. He said to me "if you like it now, just wait. Peter was the good angel on his shoulder. Things are going to get crazy now."

my assumption is that all those times that Peter held Ock back from doing something will no longer happen now. Which will then lead to confrontations with other heroes/anti-heroes, I'm sure. Also, I believe something is going on with Green Goblin in the near future.

Hitting stores in July, HE-MAN AND THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE #4 will find He-Man captured by Despara, who is ordered to bring him before Hordak. But that’s not the only reason to be excited about issue #4. The issue’s cover by Ed Benes will also introduce He-Man’s new look for DC Comics!

In the epic war against the forces of Hordak ripping through the pages of the current series, He-Man must don the sacred armor of his ancestors. While fans may be surprised by this turn of events, this dynamic direction for one of the world’s best-known heroes is firmly rooted in the classic legacy of MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE. I have hopes that with all the time travel nonsense going on right now and with X-Factor ending that Peter David will get Spider-Man 2099 as a new series and I wouldn't be surprised if it took place in modern marvel happytimes.

I don't know why, but I get giddy at how much Remender tries to use so much past MU history. Like referencing Scott being possessed by Apocalypse. Now if he could just tie up the Chamber-Apocalypse connection he would be my hero.

Speaking of past MU history, I LOVED that Star Sharks were in Thor. I remember the first time seeing one in Uncanny X-Men back in the 80's, the Brood used it as a vessel to get to earth.

Uncanny Avengers was awesome, Avengers was awesome, Secret Avengers keeps getting better.

Read Batman tonight. I enjoyed the Clayface two-parter quite a bit. Made me wish Snyder did shorter stories seeing as the next 11 issues are gonna be Zero Year... Thought the Batman Beyond suit part was awesome (if I'm correct in the reference.) Fairly new to Batman comics.
