Comic Book Thread: Combined for greatness

Finally read last week's Hawkeye. I think it might be my fav issue of the series so far.
Francesco Francavilla is so good. The contrasting colors at the party and Kate's face just amazing.

Really enjoyed the Avengers from this week too. Shang Chi is a bad ass and so is Cap Marvel.

I just caught up on the Harbinger Wars storyline and it's really good.

I don't see how it can be real since X-23 is in Murder World. But with Bendis' name on it who knows, we all know how he has no regard for continuity.

Probably the worst of the valiant titles so far in my opinion. Archer and Armstrong and Harbinger have been great

I figure'd it wasn't something coming because it looks more like a con commission or something. Plus Bendis is already writing a lot and Mann is working on Gambit. Plus Bendis said it wasn't either late last night or this morning on his tumblr Q&A.

That being said, Marvel get on making this book.

Likewise I doubt it was a legit image but by September the first arc of AA should be done already so X-23 could conceivably be off the island as the writers did say there would be major cast changes to AA after the first arc ends.

DC is cancelling Threshold, Dial H, Legion of Superheroes, and Demon Knights(sadface) after their August issues. No word on replacement issues. Most likely more Batman books.

I heard Demon Knights was good, but never checked it out. I read Dial H at the start b/c I like the weirdo writer, but his weirdness wasn't as fun in comic book form so I quit.

Demon Knights is the only one of those I'll really miss though Threshold had kind of been growing on me. The other two I thought were horrid.

Moving soon and organizing my stuff for the movers, think I own enough graphic novels? The stack with Iron Fist on top is about knee high, for reference sake.

I'm thinking it will be good but in the end it may not amount to much because of Marvel editorial.

As for AoU, sheesh it continues to be bad. It's called Age of Ultron but he hasn't even appeared yet.
