Add in people thinking the presence of mods make everything acceptable.

Artistically DkS looked great, technically it was completely and utterly underwhelming. Nothing is as horrendous as Blighttown, and some of the level design made me feel like I was playing Tomb Raider 2.

and to be clear, i never felt skyrim sucked without mods. though really, if you thought you were going to get everything possible out of the game playing it on a console, and without the myriad of possibilities that mods do bring to the table, you were kidding yourself from the start.

Amen to b and c. Tactics advance can suck on these nuts, I want more of Ivalice shit going on. Also, with all this fancy console technology they could've done something.

Furthermore, fuck TERA. I was so excited for this game when I played on Korean servers. I thought the game gonna be released like atleast 6 months ago. My enthusiasm for the game is completely gone now and may even pass with Diablo 3 and other shit on the horizon.

FF12 was fucking pathetic. I didn't give 1 shit whether the main character lived or died, at any point in the game. In fact, I didn't give 1 shit about ANY of the characters in the game because it had the worst development of any FF in history. You could basically auto-attack your way through the entire damn game with characters you care nothing about. And yes, I made it to the last savepoint before the final boss (never attemped it, didn't care about the story and another game had released) so I played enough of it to know.

KuroTsuki was spot on.

While I'm on it, who the hell thought ME2 would be more entertaining having to probe 100 gd planets? I'm playing through the game for the first time now, about 30 hours into it, and its like:

>> Probe planets for 45 minutes
> Have fun for 20 minutes
>> Probe planets for 45 minutes

Are the 20 minutes of fun supposed to make up for the 45 that sucks total ass after each interval? Someone explain if I'm doing it wrong; I don't see how in the hell it could have won any awards.

Edit: Fuck Tera as well. That was the single most fun MMO I had ever played on the Korean severs, but the hype is dead and D3 will likely beat it out now.

Gonna admit that I hated FF12 my first time through, but I think part of it was that it was compared to FF9(my favorite) by a few reviewers, so I had high hopes. I beat it, but didn't think I'd go back to it. That was when it first came out. A few months ago I figured I'd give it another try and I actually enjoyed it a lot more. Enough to beat all the Hunts and try for most of the stronger weapons. I really liked the gameplay/Hunts/sidequests. The story still isn't too great to me, though. And yes, I was paying attention to all the political shit which is supposed to make it amazing or whatever.

I you're probing planets for 45 minutes at a time in ME2, you're definitely doing something wrong. Especially if you're 30 hours into the game. Just go to the rich planets, scan for areas containing high yields and move on. Each planet should take no more than a minute. If you're really anal, you can spend 3 or 4 minutes farming, but fuck that. I had more than enough materials for every upgrade I came across. Although I don't know how it is on a controller. Mouse and keyboard is the way to go in that game. Mouse especially while mining. Or if you're on PC and beat the game a couple times and don't want to be bothered, just DL a character editor and give yourself 900k creds & 400k of each mineral and be done with it.

ME2 is in my top 5 of all time list. I'm sure ME3 will replace it.

I can agree with this. I don't mind pirating games too, too much; I buy my PC games, but I don't my movies/TV shows/what have you.

If someone says, "hey, I pirated Battlefield 3" that is fine by me. If they say they only pirated it because its on Origin and not on Steam, you are retarded. Same goes for anyone who does that for Mass Effect 3, etc.

DLC is a good thing. I mostly play fighting games, and baby you could bring me 2 new DLC characters every month for $5. Its $5; if you have issues paying $5, or even $12-15 for the dreaded map pack, go get a new job, a better job, or educate yourself. If you're 14 and your parents won't give you $10, sucks for you.

There are plenty of good NA action games; people just like to refer to them as NA-RPGs these days. I am clueless as to why.
