It happens to me more on Sentinel/Marauder than any other class (I also play a Sorcerer, Vanguard, and Mercenary). Needless to say, it's annoying as fuck and gamebreaking.
Happens to me on sent at least once every few rotations. Also happens on my gunslinger when i go into cover. Shit's game breaking and has been an issue since forever in beta.
So I'm in a wz. I force leap to some Jedi, then my screen turns into the sky and I hear a prolonged loud beep sound. On the map, I'm *OFF* the map. Fucking stupid. Happened to me once before in Huttball. This time it was in Alderaan.
This game is more garbage by the day. Makes me appreciate Aion during comparable phases of an MMO's lifespan.
Between random wtf-moments like this and the bugs that have persisted SINCE FUCKING BETA, I'm out. Patiently waiting for GW2 or TERA (although I hate weaboo Korean MMOs).
Small sample size but I'm 0-15 in warzones since 1.1. This game is about as fair and balanced as Fox News
SERIOUSLY HOW THE FUCK ARE REPUBLIC PLAYERS SO GOD DAMN BAD! HOW DO YOU JOIN A WARZONE AND DO 10K DAMAGE IN 15 MINUTES
0-18 nothing wrong with this game at all, it's all sample size
Are you Republic?
I'm Republic and before the update i couldnt win a Warzone to save my life unless i did a premade. But ever since 1.1 Hit it seems like we never lose. I think it was a level thing since before the update the majority of the Republic team would end up being level 13 and all the Imps would be 50. Now that levels are even we win almost every time on my server. But either way you look at it, yeah its completely unbalanced.
It seems like I get into warzones with the same overgeared Imperials over and over and over again. It really stifles my chance of winning anything. Having some fun on my less than 50 alts in PVP, but it's not the same. I miss my guardian. There's at least two hardcore Imperial guilds that I run into constantly that had a handful of battlemasters before the shitstorm. And one of those hardcore guilds I swear has a Republic branch with the very same name somehow.
You haven't clarified whether you're 1-49 or 50, but I'd really love to hear your explanation for how it's the developers' fault that you're teamed up with unskilled players, and have a losing streak as a result. That's not imbalance (imbalance would be if all imperial classes possessed mathematically stronger abilities), it's merely unfortunate. There are a plethora of WoW battlegroups where one faction dominates, and there's little to be done about it; your only solutions are to reroll on a different server or to form premades.
Again, the exact same problem is apparent in entire battlegroups in WoW. That's not to mention the fact that cross server warzones would eliminate the sense of community that a significant amount of people prefer on servers.
Cross-server would be fantastic. WZ should be like a FPS match. Log in, play, log out. That quick and ez. It's the about having fun.
I don't know anyone on my server still or my guild. This game feels 'community'-less for some reason. Maybe it's because my usual MMO clique isn't with me this time, but TOR feels different from Aion and FFXI.
In any case, it isn't really a big loss until world PVP has some MEANINGFUL objectives other than personal dailies/weeklies. Until then, who cares about community. No incentives.
I went 0-5 on my main in WZs. Group of republic premade was just rolling the fuck out of all the pugs I got... was soooooooo bad. Went on my alt and did about 4 hutt ball and went 3-1 lol.
I'm level 50. I have 8 pieces of champion gear and am level 30 valor so I've been doing it for a bit, it's not like I've jumped into PvP and just expected to magically be handed victories. I think 90% of it is that Republic PUG warzones players are fucking retarded. I try telling people to guard a point, or fight at the doors, or FOCUS THE HEALER PUKING GREEN SHIT FIRST but it makes no difference.
Having to rely on my team to win is stupid. Make the dailies/weeklies based on individual accomplishments (like medals, or objectives, or kills, or some combination) ala Ilum so I can continue the match without really worrying if we're going to lose or not. Not to mention that 3-4 people will always bail the second the match seems like it's going to be an empire win because there are no desertion penalties.
10% of it is that while the trees are mimics, casting animations are not, and there are several empire abilities that have shorter animations that allow for an overall higher ability usage. project/shock for example.
I think the average medals is about 5-7 per match. So for daily it should be "get 25 valor medals(or even 30) which is about 3-5 games. Weekly should be something like 200. I find it rather annoying that healers have as much survivability if not more than regular classes. It is almost impossible to solo a healer without use of every stun you have. Game is horribly balanced.
How does a cross server fucking warzone "eliminate the sense of community" on the server? Do you experience a lot of interpersonal bonding in warzones?
No, you fucking don't. I fucking hate this stupid community reasoning. The community is filled with trolls, assholes and useless baddies. Being able to actually play the game in a balanced fashion that doesn't require waiting for hours or mindless shouting is always a good thing.
So...the final Class fight for Jed Knight.
