If the average MMO player didn't have such a hardon for playing the Zerg Factions (ie Horde Defiant Empire), there wouldn't be a faction imbalance. People are always looking for EZ mode. L2P.

I don't even think it goes that far. I think most kids just think being the bad guy is cool. They don't even think about the benefits of the imbalance ahead of time.

Maybe I chose the Sith because I've always played the "good" guys... besides, the baddie Sith aren't the ones kicking Republic ass.

Maybe shit's different on other servers, but on Hedar Soongh, the PUG Sith are absolutely terribad and the Sith get their ass kicked 2/3 times in WZ. The only time we win is a) we run premade guild ONRY b) We play another shit Sith team (huttball)

PUG are shit no matter what faction you're on, or for that matter, what game you're on.

This. Get a couple of friends, get on vent, and start owning some huttball. Sometimes you'll get a random that knows what they're doing and line themselves up for a pass, which is always nice. Having queued solo recently after exclusively running in premades for a while, I can say its almost not even worth PvPing if you aren't in a premade with friends. Shit is such hit or miss its not even funny.

So I thought at first that I could not get SWTOR to take my money, but I was wrong. They just won't let me play.

Here is the story. So I guess my free 30 days expired last night and my card was supposed to be charged. Instead I was kicked form the game and couldn't log back in. Got an email stating that my payment was denied. I had a few weeks ago set up my pay details and went ahead and chose to select 6 months.

After seeing the email I went to the web page and under billing it said I did not have a subscription so I hit subscribe and pick 1 month this time and entered my card number. It said denied. I then tried to pay through paypal (which is linked to the same card) it said denied. I went to ask on the forums, but since I did not have an active subscription now I was not allowed to post. I found a post with someone who had a similar, but not the same issue. The responses said the payment thing is probably being bogged down with all the people being charged and to keep trying to get through. I went and tried my card a few more times and kept saying denied and wouldn't let me have access to the rest of the site or the game.

I then called customer support which I have been on hold with now for pushing 5 hours. While on hold I went to my online banking to look around and that is when I found this

So I did not get game time, but every time I tried to enter my card, including the initial 6 month plan I had chose a few weeks ago, I was charged for. The fortunate thing is that I am not poor so I did not get overdrawn like some college students might.

TL;DR they took my money, but won't let me play. Hopefully they will just correct it on the spot if I ever get through on the phone.

Didn't it take Blood Elfs for Horde to even become an EVEN faction with Alliance? I remember being out numbered 2-1 on my server.

For sure that helped, it was the cool thing to be alliance back in Vanilla but since then the mentality stuck. I mean just look in general in this forum and in at various websites and do a quick consensus on what side they play. I'm quite sure it's Empire/Horde/Defiant/etc.

I understand looks had a hand in people choosing factions, but that's becoming no excuse in current gen MMOs.

been playing merc today, 60 kills as a lv12 in huttball wtf

so fun, but as a human-turret I get owned by melee. time will tell tho, looking forward to it. needed a break from my constant shitty pvp bag rolls on Marauder.

The game gets so fucking boring once you get to Battlemaster. Basically all there is to do is the couple dailies or play an alt.

I'm at 50 and haven't finished my class story yet, but apparently the Rise of the Rakghouls mission starter doesn't give a fuck since he just spoiled the fuck out of it for me. Thanks, Bioware.

Why is there a splash screen in this game? If I alt tab out to do something then return, I don't see the need to wait for a 'load screen' or whatever it is you want to call it. Never seen this in a game I've played before. wth /annoyed

Hit level 50 on Voss (which is not the last story planet...), stop at the Imperial Fleet to sell stuff at AH, talk to NPC because its labeled "Flashpoint Courier" and not "HEY COME TALK TO ME TO GET SPOILED GUY", get spoiled.

I did a ton of pvp on my way up to 50 so by the time i hit 50 i still had like a solid 2 planets of class quests to go. Its pretty easy to hit 50 even if you don't want to before finishing the class quest if you like to pvp at all. I'm not sure how it would be now with the super long queues and brackets though.

I was planning on leveling a Marauder to 50 using only warzones, then realized at 16 that your valor rank can't be higher than your current level. Slightly annoyed, but I guess I'll just cap valor every time I level up...

Because it has to redraw the textures when you alt tab back in. They had the splash screen off during beta and it took a couple seconds to happen so they just added the splash screen.
