    Copying Itunes library?

I don't know why the fuck Apple just doesn't let you copy your whole playlist. It's really fucking annoying.

Can anyone recommend a decent program (free or otherwise acquired, don't post links) to a program that can do this? I'd do Idump, but it doesn't support itouch. Ugh.

    Thanks!

you can point an itunes to a library in your old itunes folder.

assuming you still have the itunes folder.

id give you a program but event come access an issue like this that needed.

Whenever I switch computers, I have to move my iTunes library manually. I keep most of the files on an external drive, but in order to save stuff like playlists and settings you need to copy the stuff from "My Documents" also. Install iTunes on new machine and then close it. Copy your old iTunes info from My Documents into the new machine My Documents, overwriting wherever necessary. Open iTunes again and your stuff should be there, though you may need to point it to where your files are again, like in my case I think I usually had to point iTunes to the external drive as the My Music location each time I moved the library to a new computer. I think some settings might need to be put back in as well, like "automatically move new files to "My Music" folder when adding to library" and "automatically check for new podcasts every X hours" and such.

Make sure when leaving an old computer for a new one (or in my case, wiping the computer and doing a fresh windows install) that you de-authorize iTunes before the move. You can only have 5 computers authorized under your iTunes ID, if you go over the limit by not de-authorizing old machines, you have to email them to reset your account and de-authorize everything.

    Come again?

Thanks Maacha! But in my case I already formatted. So I'm going to have to find another way of doing it. I can probably find something on tehparadox.
